This shit slaps.
This shit slaps.
This is Cause and Effect not crosses
Sad to read the fouder Sean Rowley of Cause & Effect passed way back during their tour. Thanks for sharing! Found a new synth band to dive into.
hi guys, does anyone know where i can buy the 2 EP’s?
update:
never mind, just realised they are both part of the album

I believe the only physical format any of the EP's came out on was 10" vinyl, if that makes a difference. But yeah, the album has everything just in a different order (I'm not sure if they made changes to any songs though), so maybe the redundancy caused various digital fronts to consolidate and just list the album.
hi, apart from the cover The Beginning of the End and The Years from Batman: Arkham City, are there any other non album/ep tracks?
thanks

Here is the session.
If you're not too stingy and just wanna be able to enjoy the song, you can always just use a YouTube converter for MP3 or MP4.
Here's the original downloads, grabbed from the website's source code (which is why the filenames are weird). The first track is just Chino saying, "Hey, what's up? This is Crosses, and you're listening to Daytrotter". Despite the filenames, all files are tagged properly. It's also worth noting that the originals are VBR not CBR:

Some new merch and "Future: New Music" according to the band.

At first I thought it sounded a bit like they had written a song for The Weeknd, then I chided my ignorance for not knowing it was a cover
I don't understand the point of this cover. It sounds exactly like the original but is about half as long and sounds worse.....kinda disappointed
Never cared for this song, but nice to see that new music is right around the corner!
I understand their point though : when a cover doesn't bring anything new and is merely a replication of the original, I don't get it either. I'm cool with bands doing whatever they want just because they enjoy it, obviously, but if you're tackling a classic I get a lot more pleasure from it if there's some attempt at reinterpreting it in a creative way.
Maybe it's a statement that the band still exists and there might be a new album coming?
Either way, i was happy to hear it...

Phone is messing up the codes atm... But sounds like a new song, finally!

Thoughts on the new material? The video is pretty cool but mostly it’s just sorta ok for me.
Really digging the new songs. They capture the haunting atmosphere the band brings, and sounds like a straight continuation from where they left off.
First half of Initiation is all Crosses, and the second half is almost Deftones territory, but no problem there.
Protection is peculiar and when you think it's becoming repetitive, it sprinkles something a little different in. Good stuff...
Nice little interview. We will be getting new crosses songs throughout the year... Wonder if they will just release them like the first batch of singles.
