That is a possibility after the release of remastered PHM, there "may" have been plans for a later deluxe release (and that could also be why the weren't released digitally). We'll never know until if/when it happens.

Here's everything I've got. Long loops, long tracks (like stems), short samples, EMix (lossless, TR), Merkury (mp3, winner):

So, I have no idea what this is. I checked out the file which seems like a clip or a full remix... I didn't find any info when looking online. Is there somewhere that explains what the deal is with this?

I remember the remix contest back in the day, but don't recall anything about an official remix.

Thanks for this. Not sure if I'd heard the EMix before.

Only problem with them is that they just used the original loops and didn't really alter them in any way whatsoever. Maybe those were the rules, although it doesn't make for a particularly interesting remix. Trent's was most likely made to give an idea of what could be done.

I don't envy the judges. Sifting through however many hundreds of identical-sounding variations of one song seems like a small nightmare.

Something to put in the old fragile curiosity folder at least.

They were created using a flash page.

I believe http://www.portraitofdecay.net had the player itself archived, but it looks like that's gone.

The wayback machine has the index is there: http://web.archive.org/web/201708170...tnik.com/emix/

    But doesn't have doesn't have a backup of portraitofdecay's backup.: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://...nin/index.html

    And doesn't have a backup itself: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://.../emix_nin.html

    RIP portraitofdecay.

It looks like the ninremixes.com multitracks page is messed up, but here's a direct download link: http://ninremixes.com/downloads/Unof...0(Samples).zip

From the readme accompanying the mp3s:

These audio layers were from some online shockwave-based to remix The
Big Come Down. The song was broken into 5 layers for different
instruments, which you could turn on and off. I don't believe there was
much additional opportunity to edit anything.

Seeing the limitations of the program, I realized I had to capture the
audio before the Beatnik web application was taken down. However, the
way in which I did this was less than ideal. I turned on a layer at a
time, and used sndrec32 in windows to capture it. There was no way to
restart the loop to the beginning, even with all layers off. So I would
record and keep recording until I heard it loop, and I would end the
file for that layer. So these 5 loop files do not start and stop at any
well defined points. They may also be longer or *shorter* than a full
loop. I did my best, but I may have cut some of them prematurely.
Then, I compressed the files into 128Kbps mp3, using whatever
application I had at the time. My best guess is that this was 2000,
    *possibly* 2001.

Had I had enough forsight, I would have simply saved the shockwave
files, and found some method to extract the raw audio from them, and
leave them in that format. Hopefully someone out there has done this.

Either way, these files could be cleaned up and imported into a *real*
audio program to make better remixes than Beatnik provided.

Also included in this zip is Trent's own Beatnik remix, which was a
preset you could click on in the program. There was a contest for the
best fan remix, and the winner's mix was available, but I have not
included it in this zip. I didn't view it as important.

    Personally? Yes.

But they were never on ninremixes.com - I think I heard that the guy in charge of ninremixes.com died.

edit: Wait no, I googled it and I'm remembering it wrong. What had happened was that a former moderator who hadn't been active for years had died, but was given credit for the work of more recent moderators, so the person who uploaded all the multitracks stopped uploading them. (which is kinda funny, because the multitrack updates stopping at the same time as a death does make it look like that the deceased was the one uploading them. But whatever, if the site owner hadn't wanted his active volunteer to quit, he probably shouldn't have said their work was done by someone who hadn't been active in years. Credit where credit is due, I say.)

Ah, the links were still there even though the page was kaput. Thank you for the help! Sucks to hear that the owner of the site died.

Thanks for reuploading them, but it looks like you deleted the accompanying text files that explained the origin of the files.

Anyway, here's some wayback machine links that helped me find the multitracks:

    * http://web.archive.org/web/201104241...ultitracks.php
    * http://web.archive.org/web/201102111...ic.php?t=48198

It's a shame the links from the old download thread didn't get copied over to the new one.

Obviously all the old megaupload links are dead, but it looks like most of the mediafire links are still good.

Can someone point me in the right direction to the With Teeth Instrumentals. I remember listening to them with Apple music and I thought i purchased them back then. Is there any means to download the instrumental version of the album through another service? Thanks!

They were never available for purchase, just streaming, exclusive to Apple Music. The entire contents of the Apple Music-exclusive stuff was posted by ninjaw here (hopefully, one of the links still works):

Hey erbody. So we got hold of a true 5.1 system.

Is there anything in 5.1 that is part of Our Thing, when it comes to sharing? I'd really like to hear some of it.

i mean you should definitely pick up TDS & with teeth in 5.1 (don't know how hard they are to get physically these days). other than those, the AATCHB dvd, and TSN blu-ray audio, nothing else has been done in 5.1 officially.

While trying to recoup everything I lost in my hard drive wipe, I've just remembered @ecirb had a lossless (FLAC) version of the compiled Closure DVD menu music that was first mentioned way back in the Patriot's Day thread.

Thank you for not deleting the link you gave me then.

@Pyract - I noticed nindestruct seems to have this in mp3 only...
