I would love it if Trent got Hot Chip And Simian to open up on the next leg for North America. Who doesnt want a dance party.

Wow, that Running mix was excellent... and I can't stand the original. This was a million times better. Actually, was the best mix of the bunch.
That Copy of A mix did nothing for me though, won't be listening to that again... as someone said earlier in this post, it's that 10 minute Me, i'm not remix from year zero remixed all over again... just a continuious beat the whole time... blah.

It's all .... pretty good. But I really like that Running one... interesting. I really miss the weirdness and edge of Further Down the Spiral (in terms of a bit more experimental sounding stuff), sorta was hoping for something a little more than 4 tracks, but I'll take it, I'm happy Haha.

I downloaded the high quality files to my phone and then saved them to my laptop, but it seems there's some DRM wrapping or something (the extension was 801). I wanted to see what the audio quality was for the saved files, to no avail. Should I download using my laptop instead of the phone?

Wow. I totally called this. Pity I have no love for subscription music services. Disappointing, but as long as the main releases keep getting physical editions, I'll be happy. I guess.

remixes are very poor. the least stinking is indeed the Running mix, still it borders on idiocy. where is the remix mastery of Further down the spiral?

OK, so here's a direct rip of the EP (thanks for the pointers, ninjaw and ItsJustDave). The only thing I changed is adding the artwork to the files:

    http://www.mediafire.com/download/de...cyi8/seed8.zip

    Password protected zip: etsshare

As Rob said, it's promotional. Steal it.

It's a lossless capture of the lossy, right ? I'm sorry i didn't get the solution, how did you manage to capture the album ? (sorry for asking technicals)

Yes, lossless capture of the 256 Kbps MP3. Just used a download sniffer (HiDownload) while running the app in BlueStacks. Apparently the encryption only gets applied locally in the app or something.

So wait, whenever I try to unprotect the ZIP by entering the password, it just comes up with an error message saying "file skipped unknwown compressions method", do you know the problem here?

The Kansas City crowd did not want a dance party.

Alright, ''Everything'' and ''Running'' are keepers.
I thought ''Running'' was one of the better tracks on HM- featured some brave, different choices. Reznor singing acapella, for one. Like a subtler ''I Do Not Want This,'' overall.

I was using the Windows 7 internal unzip, it seems to work with WinRAR.

I feel like remixes these days are just completely new songs with a vocal sample from the original so that it can be called a remix.

...Uncoiled and Recoiled have spoiled us all over again on excellent remixes! we need more of these styles for modern times, yes?

Further Down The Spiral (and maybe Things Falling Apart, too), really set the benchmark for me, for NIN remixes. I'll never tire of going back to those albums. Seen a lot of other people saying similar too. Ruiner and Heresy remixes... still so good.

I have to agree. Soo much better than the album version. Sounds like someone making the most of the opportunity.
