meh
I really liked this one. Sounds very UYI-ish, like "Breakdown" meets "Dead Horse." It has an off-beat arrangement that keeps things interesting. It's from an old demo, but sounds like a true collaboration between Axl/Slash/Duff.
Sounds like another leftover of Chinese Democracy, not terrible, but not great either, just like the other two songs released so far i'm not impressed and it shows a band that's a shadow of it's former self...
I thought "Perhaps" sounded a lot better than the other two songs, production wise. It sounds more organic, less cut-and-paste.
The part where Axl sings "You're all alone now" gives me goosebumps.
"Perhaps" is the #1 song WW on iTunes.
From last night:
Both The Pretenders and GN'R were fantastic.
how did Axl sound?
So the general and another song called " monster" have leaked. Speculation is that they are half's of the same song. You can listen at this SoundCloud account (not mine)
https://m.soundcloud.com/skylar-ande...29/the-general
Edit-
Its now up as one song on a YouTube account (not official account)
Edit-
Universal took it down but it's still up on that SoundCloud account..

Sounds like a demo. It's good for what it is, but I'm hoping that's not the version of the song that they will be releasing. Has a lot of potential.
The single should be out soon.

SLASH To Reveal Full Details Of His 'Blues' Solo Album On Friday
This looks awesome. I loved Slash's 2010 album and think it's the best thing he did outside of Guns N' Roses.Last July, Slash revealed to Yahoo! Entertainment that he was working on his second "solo" album. The follow-up to 2010's "Slash" was described by the now-58-year-old axeman as having "a bunch of different singers" and being "sort of similar to my first solo record, which featured Fergie, Adam Levine, Ozzy Osbourne, Dave Grohl, Lemmy Kilmister, Chris Cornell, Nicole Scherzinger and other vocalists, but "more blues-oriented."
Wow, this sounds great:
