I guess this is the closest we'll get to new NIN in 2016.
19/164 in my personal database... so nope. And most of them are instrumentals, outtakes or taken from HM:
+Appendage
13 Ghosts II
2 Ghosts I
22 Ghosts III
34 Ghosts IV (part 3 final)
All Time Low (verse)
And All that Could Have Been (chorus)
Beside You in Time
Can I Stay Here
Copy of A (chorus)
Even Deeper
Everything (chorus)
Everything (verse)
Find my Way (verse)
La Mer (Alt)
Pilgrimage (Alt)
Satellite (verse)
The Persistence of Loss
Various Methods of Escape (verse)
Only Even Deeper and La Mer are non-HM songs in major key.
Okay, guess I stand corrected then. Although by songs, I did mean "tracks" and by "a lot" I did mean "several" (not necessarily a large percentage). I did expect more than that, though. This ninwiki page lists more, too, but I don't have the time to verify those right now.
The Fragile outtake that was on The Fragile instrumental release on Apple Music
woohoo thanks to totem for finding it & ryan keeping focus on it <3
I never imagined this would turn up for reals after so many years.
Even for a "simple" pop song by NIN standards, it still holds up pretty well without the vocals.
We still need to locate the CBH full length instrumental.
well there is this http://x-minus.pro/artist/5452

So I resurrected this thread for a reason, in form of an eventual question. It really irked me that Came Back Haunted was only released in instrumental form as a 30 sec clip, and it’s been years since and still...nothing. I took the liberty of reconstructing it with other various methods mixing to get it as close to the original, and feel it’s worth sharing, but when share it to SoundCloud, they give me the YouTube fuckery treatment and deny it immediately. I’ve tried to put to a video and upload it to Reddit but once it goes through, it sound like shite because their compression system or whatever throws off all the levels and sounds like a half inverted mono track. So my question is, is there anyplace I can upload it to without an issue, whereas I can get a link and share it etc. Any advice would be appreciated. Ty!
Maybe archive.org?
I’ll give that a shot, ty!
