I bought the Immersive set of Dark Side of the Moon. And stopped there... WYWH box didn't have the documentary video (which I did get later on) and had the same props (which I wasn't really interested in, not twice). I ended up listening to the demos and live versions once or twice. Didn't buy the Discovery box set, cause I was sure if I wanted to spend more on albums I already had or I didn't want to listen to anyway (it's hard loving EVERYTHING they did).

So now I have all the albums in my Apple Music account.... Easy access. Maybe the next next boxset I will buy them. Or just a book. I don't want cds. Anybody have this one? https://www.amazon.com/Pink-Floyd-Al...dp/031643924X/ Or recommend a good one? I only have Inside Out.

So Roger Waters Us+Them Live could be released in Bluray and in theater later this year. But the news was announced on April 1st. I trust no one on that day.

It was posted today (April 2nd) on brain damage, maybe you saw it on the 1st due to time zone difference?
At least we know for sure that tour was filmed. (But so was Dark Side tour, lol! )

I picked up the RSD edition of A Saucerful of Secrets remastered from the original MONO mix. Sounds phenomenal, I love this album so much! Really psyched to hear Nick Mason's band play stuff from it tomorrow night.

Whoa. Yesterday Roger joined Nick Mason's band for a rendition of Set the Controls...

Also, there's probably gonna be a live album from this tour.

I hope they film for a DVD/Blu as the stage setup looks fantastic, but I will absolutely settle for an album.

This is on my mind this morning. For personal reasons, but having lived with the album so long I think I can say this might be my favorite song from Amused To Death. It's plainly very personal to Roger, mentioning his father and his time busking in Lebanon, cleverly weaving the Midas fable into something contemporary.

I got to see the exhibit of Gilmour's guitars at Christie's yesterday ahead of today's auction. My jaw was on the floor when I saw some of them up close. A beautiful, staggering collection!

Heard one of his guitars that he basically played a majority of the songs with just went for over a million bucks. Jeez.

That is INSANE! I knew it would fetch at least a million, but apparently it went for the highest ever for a guitar at auction.

That’s Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay. Guy has a collection of rare and valuable guitars. Must be nice.

I just hope whoever bought the "Wish You Were Here" 12-string Gilmour used to write the riff also bought the 6-string that solos over the intro, so they can stay together. They were side-by-side in the exhibit, which I found kinda moving.

I think that might be an extra on the Blu-ray/DVD of this, but that is purely speculation. I know he has said that it's not too far from his mind as far as release, it's just been waiting for the right moment to put it out.

Lots of drama in that family. His dad was pretty screwed up too, and is pretty much why the team moved to Indy from Baltimore.
