If they did do it, it would be just as forced as everything else they do is.
What's this I'm hearing they are probably going to tape everything up to the Raw after WM this week?

still a chance WM may not happen. if Florida shuts down all non-essential businesses, the performance center will be forced to closed. they closed gyms here in NJ, PC is considered a gym
"It's an entertainment studio, pal!"
I can seriously hear him say this.
PC is a few things. Training facility and studio. They're taping mania (if they haven't already).
Very glad for Matt Hardy debuting. Time to see how well this iteration of the Broken Gimmick will work.
As for Brodie Lee, I can take or leave him. Didn't care for him with the Wyatt Family or as Luke Harper in WWE and I can't see myself really liking him anymore in AEW even if he is with the Dark Order. He'll cut promos now at least so maybe I'll change my tune. Was never into his ring work stuff though.
I linked this in another wrestling thread here, but it's such a powerful watch had to share it here also.
It was also trending bigger on Twitter last night than even Raw, so this has brought what is undoubtedly the darkest moment in the industry back to light.
Reigns vs. Goldberg is off. After Rey and Dana Brooke having to go into quarantine, he apparently felt this wasn't worth the risk, especially since he's immunocompromised from his bouts with leukemia.
Good on Roman for that and I'm 100% in his corner for this. The show should be postponed.
If (hopefully) things normalize and we hit July or whatever make it a big extravaganza for the summer. The Pirate theme and it originally being in Tampa would make for a great summer celebration. Hell, even alter it into a mega combination for WM and SummerSlam. Just suspend the matches and storylines running with those feuds for now. We're all adults and kayfabe is mostly dead for on air consumption. I think we'll live if we notice some of the storylines were dropped or postponed due to real life circumstances you can't control.
On the flip side, Dynamite was mostly great. I think Jericho and Hardy will be the next big feud for both men. I don't ever recall them having any notable matches or feuds in WWE.
That opening match on Dynamite this week, after it was over and Cody just walked back over to the announce table and gave Tony a big ol' sweaty hand shake... not gonna lie, in my head I was screaming "SOCIAL DISTANCING!!!"
Hope these dudes are being ultra extra cautious. The show was great though. Loved the bit with Hardy and Jericho.
In a way i want WM to be postponed, in another i want them to do it now.
We are not sure things will be back to normal by Summer and how many guys (like Cena, Goldburg or Taker) will be available.
In another hand a WM with no crowd sounds like a trainwreck waiting to happen...
Shame because the pirate theme sounds great, i do want them to show the huge scenario they already built.
But im also curious to watch a Wrestlemania with no crowd, i'm sure that Vince wont pospone, he's too stubborn...
Asuka and Cesaro pulled out too. They should've postponed. I get wanting to get it over with. But what do they actually gain? And Ive seen who Roman's replacement might be...disappointing. The mania that shouldn't happen.
I saw somewhere that the reason Roman pulled out was because Miz showed up to the PC sick. Roman said screw it, rightfully so.
They could easily have just postponed and replaced whatever PPV with mania. Only part timer that might not be available is Cena, I think. If it's not meant to be, whatever. This show is going to be very weird. Have a mentioned how this shouldn't be happening?
Man, it's so weird not having a WrestleMania get together party for the first time in a few years. This was always one of my favorite weekends of the year and it was going to be even better this upcoming Wednesday as AEW Dynamite was in my neck of the woods, but alas. Here we are.
Should interesting to see what happens tonight and tomorrow.
The Boneyard Match was fucking awesome. One of the highest production and unique things the WWE has done in ages. Easily one of the best things the Undertaker has done in a decade also. Loved it.
Bliss Cross are champs again too.
Goldberg vs. Braun felt like when you and your younger sibling just picked up a new game but you just spam the same move over and over again because that's the only move set you can memorize. Terrible.
I also kinda hated the Boneyard match, but I think I'm on an island by myself there. Liked the ladder match, Becky/Baszler (weird finish) and Rollins/KO (the right finish) ... but that's about it. Felt everything was immensely awkward without the crowd, but adding the soundtrack for WCW/nWo: Revenge for Nintendo 64 to the background while I watched along was kind of fun.
It's crazy how Dynamite makes the same kind of environment feel way more alive.
The Boneyard match was Brokenverse without the sense of humor. It sucked real bad.
KO vs Rollins was match of the night followed by the ladder match. I liked Bryan vs Sami and Baszler vs Lynch but both of those didn’t have enough time.
Not a great first night. They still have no clue how to run empty arena. Like just swallow your dumb pride and copy AEW, Vince.
One thing I've picked up from these quiet matches is that holy shit, this sounds way too much like porn.
I don't do acid but if I did I'd imagine it'd be like the bray/cena segment.
MUCH BETTER 2nd night of WrestleMania. I liked everything but Charlotte winning and the RAW tag title match. I hated HM in NXT but I love Otis on the main roster I guess because he’s basically Chris Farley. I absolutely adored the Firefly Funhouse (Bray was Freddy and Cena was a Dream Warrior) and the brutality of the Last Man Standing match. And to top it off, McIntyre got his big win! I’m a tough critic but kudos WWE.
Night 1 will always have KO vs Rollins, though but fuck that white piece of dog shit Boneyard match in its played way too serious face.

Gotta agree with you. I think I liked the ladder match and KO moreso during the first night, but I'm 100% with you in regards to the Funhouse match. Holy shit, was that fun. Very much a Nightmare on Elm Street vibe and it also reminded me it like Cena was Batman and Bray was Scarecrow and hit him with fear toxin. It just clicked for me so much more. Was it a match? No, not really ... lol. But it just was a more meta vignette that was super fun.
Dude I had to take my headphones off during the Rollins and KO match after KO jumped off the Wrestlemania logo. It LITERALLY sounded like some hardcore passionate messiahing.
EDIT----
WOWOW I was NOT expecting the Firefly Funhouse "match" to be THAT fucking awesome. To quote Mr. McBossman, that was good shit. Boneyard was like an episode of Sons of Anarchy and Firefly was like Inland Empire or some shit. Wild.

It was an odd Wrestlemania...
- I liked most of the matches, but hated the finishes (Specially Charlotte and Becky winning...)
- The Boneyard match was fun, and i hate to admit it, but this is what Taker should do from now on...
- Firefly funhouse was odd, i get the Wrestling references and the concept, but it did not work, this wasn't even a match, it was a failed experiment that did nothing for Bray (since it doesn't matter that he "won", he still didn't wrestle against Cena)
- Enjoyed a lot K.O. vs Rollins, probably my favorite along with the ladder match...
- Did the Last Man Standing match needed to be that long? i was happy to see Edge back, but damn, it bored me...
- Making Wrestlemania 2 nights seems like a solution to make the show easier to watch.
That being said, i hope they never do a Wrestlemania with no crowd, i liked the show for what it was, but that wasn't Wrestlemania, the show was fine, but Wrestling loses a lot with no crowd.
god that might of been the worst post mania raw ive ever saw
Man, that Brawl for All episode on Dark Side of the Ring tonight was bonkers. It happened 6 years before I got into wrestling and I knew the idea was bullshit and never looked into it outside of WrestleMania XV when Bart got KO'd by Butterbean.
Man was that a stupid fucking idea for everyone involved. I learned so much by this in depth look at it. Probably makes me sound like a noob when I'm not.

I remember the tournament, thinking it was cool at the time, not realizing what a shitshow it was...
The episode was great, but sad to see Bart Gunn's history, he did his best, he proved himself and the WWE treated him like shit.
Also was nice to see Droz, despite his injury, he seems like a nice guy, i always liked him despite his lack of success.
I have no idea whether i admire or despise Jim Cornette. It might be both.
