Honestly same. I wish both companies would quit high school trolling each other and lean into it kayfabe while genuinely working together behind the scenes to help promote and help EACH OTHER'S companies. It's undeniable that WWE is about to enter a new unprecedented era and rather than watching TK and HHH trade shots at each other, I'd prefer it if they just spent a year building to a Forbidden Door / Invasion Type event with AEW vs WWE matches or something.

Help each others promotions, build each others product up. I fucking love sitting down to watch Raw and Smackdown on Monday and Fridays and then seeing a different type of wrestling show on Wednesday and Saturdays with AEW. If you're just choosing one to watch and then shitting on the other company because it's different to what you're used to watching, you're honestly doing yourself a disservice as a wrestling fan.

This has been the dumbest thing and I hope it’s done now.
I think Tony had stated that the incident that made him fear for his life took place after the scuffle, but that's his word against Punk's.

Will's comment probably popped Triple H and if anything, will make him a target for when AEW closes or his contract ends and WWE backs up a truck full of money to his house. Some of the smarks on the internet were claiming otherwise but, it's a smart move on Will's part if that was his underlying intention.

I'm a CM Punk mark - I make no bones about it. Our personal politics seem pretty well-aligned so that fuels part of it for me but even when he rubs folks the wrong way, his reasons usually make sense. If the Bucks and FTR can turn this next match into a banger, then good on 'em. But there should be some concern that Punk, a former employee, is needed to hype this match up further. TK should have listened to him when he told him to release him after Brawl Out so he shares some of the blame here too.

I dropped in on WrestleMania night 2 for the last match. It was pretty entertaining. Good acting from the Rock when Undertaker appeared. Hopefully Triple H keeps the quality up. It was time for Vince to go.

Guess AEW survived and wasn't shit canned after last week's "disastrous" show like everyone claimed it would online. Drat.

Dynamite was solid last night. That Trios match with The Elite/Garcia, Penta and Pac was awesome.

Looking forward to Dynasty this weekend.

If anything is going to make me watch AEW out of spite it's going to be Oklahoma's shit response to Nyla Rose existing in their state.

I'm hoping that TK goes all in with the same inclusive vibes that AEW has at their Florida kickoff presser back in January of 2019. You know, the one when both Nyla and Sonny Kiss spoke to how AEW would be different: https://www.youtube.com/live/XSXYPn_VnDk?feature=shared

I’m also excited for Dynasty and really hope Swerve wins, no disrespect to Joe, who has been great. I think AEW needs a shot in the arm and I think Swerve is more than ready.
It looks to be a rad card.

I finally watched the Windham Rotunda documentary.

Overall, it was well done and insightful.

I don’t like that Undertaker, who wronged him possibly worse than Vince, was not only featured but narrating it. That felt like insulting revisionist history. Yeah, Cena wronged him too but ended up making it right in the Firefly Funhouse match (that I know most folks didn’t like but I did).

It’s a damn shame he passed. I do wonder if he was antivax because those heart issues largely occurred in those that didn’t get the vaccine. We will probably never know. Such a tragedy.

I met Billy Gunn AT MY GYM yesterday and got a pic. I've been watching that man since I was like 5 years old, absolutely floored.

Also he is jacked beyond belief, sometimes its easy to forgot just how massive pro wrestlers are.

Dynasty was largely a great event.

Ospreay has won me over. He’s showing more personality since he got to AEW. That match with Danielson was special. Loved the ending, the Styles Clash counter to the triangle, and A TOP ROPE TIGER PLEX!!!!!

What can I say about Swerve that I haven’t already said? I’m so happy for him!

The only two matches I didn’t like were Jericho/Hook and Willow/Julia. You can explain the second one by understanding 1–Julia is injured and 2–Willow is a placeholder for Mercedes. Chris Jericho needs to retire.

I am pleasantly surprised to see Adam Cole walking around. I can’t imagine he’s returning before like July to wrestling but it’s very positive to see him walking.

Imagine cheering for Jack Perry, though. If it wasn’t for the crowd’s good energy throughout the night I’d have a lot more to say. We’ve seen the empty disingenuous attempt at a heel. This wave he’s on isn’t going to last unless he actually puts in the work. It’s a shame too (but inevitable because everyone knew this return was coming) because this was the best FTR/EVP match until the end.

I'm seeing multiple people say that it was the best match to ever take place on american soil. I may have to take a look at it.

I don't know if Id go THAT far but it was DAMN good. I would have considered it a perfect match if it wasn't for them bringing out the "Danielson hurt his neck and is fencing" angle yet again. That shit is so played out to me.

My absolute biggest take away from Dynasty is that Jericho needs to F U C K O F F. That fucking match was slow, plodding, and full of botches. It's like Jericho has completely forgotten how to wrestle lately. Dude has no business holding ANY title right now.

Jericho is, was and always will be an overpushed midcarder.

Dude he's gotten SO MUCH worse though over the past year too. It's honestly really pathetic to watch.

I wasn’t going to mention the releases but Cameron Grimes/Trevor Lee is a very good wrestler and talker. He will excel wherever he ends up.

Related somewhat, the FTC just banned non compete clauses—https://thehill.com/business/4615452...greements/amp/

The ruling will be in affect 120 days from today so it won’t affect these most recent releases but I think it’ll be interesting going forward.

Kayfabin' it. Of course once again people are bashing it, calling it embarrassing and a joke. Including dumbfuck McAfee.

    Double Standards anyone?

When the WWE does it, it's "genius" and "innovative", when AEW does it, it's "dumb" and "desperate".

I should have written it better but I was on mobile and a word must have been lost.

I meant Pat McAfee (sorry don't like him hence the dumbfuck mention) commentated on it as well as others. Most of the X brigade are trashing it calling it embarrassing and stupid like they always do.

I am also firmly of the opinion that Pat McAfee is a dopey douchebro.

Additionally, I really thought that news of no compete clauses being banned would garner more of a reaction here.
