CM Punk was a toxic piece of shit and I honestly can't believe anyone misses him. He didn't even have one solid good match that wasn't carried by his opponent since his return. Motherfucker is not missed at all.
Oh man, i hurts to read this.
You're allowed to dislike him, i'm not saying he's the victim in all this, but rephrase: "he isn't missed by YOU".
I could care less about the backstage politics and how the Elite moved the story to make them appear the "victims", but CM Punk did bring something to the table and even the ratings are showing that.
I almost want this to be a work, this could be one of the greatest wrestling storylines ever! Sadly it's just bullshit and drama (from both sides).
There
That was a decent PPV.
I’m very happy for Hayter and MJF, though I’m not sure about how that ending works yet. Also very happy to see The Elite back and a series of 7 should be very fun.
I was there. great time. my first AEW live event
Jamie motherfucking hayter!
At last MJF is champ, deserved!
Yes, and to quote a commenter on CSS regarding the latest BTE YouTube video:
Not to be all "both sides", but I think this is at least 60/40...Just come back and have good matches like the one on Full Gear. This whole "The world's against us, but nothing's going to keep us down!" thing is slightly nauseating (and I generally like the Elite).
Dudes, you tried to politick the most infamously-grumpy loose cannon in the business, he burnt your childish asses to cinders on the mic, then you stepped to the guy at the absolutely wrong time and got in a fight that got you suspended from the company you basically co-founded. I'd be extremely embarrassed about the whole thing myself. Enough with the sassy references, just do what you do well in the ring and earn the audience's trust back that way.
Those FUCK CM PUNK chants at Full Gear certainly backs up the "motherfucker is not missed at all".
Extremely solid PPV too. I had a blast watching the entire thing. Can't even believe we're about to get blessed with 7 Death Triangle/Elite matches. Also so fucking stoked to have the belts on MJF and Hayter.
After yesterday this may be becoming a work which as everyone knows is the outcome I keep hoping for.
It absolutely sucks when your favorites actually hate each other but there’s sooooooo much money and dream matches to be made here, if possible.
We’ll see.
Was able to catch the men's War Games match and it didn't disappoint. Great storytelling with the Bloodline. Really intrigued with the depths which Sami is willing to go in order to prove his worth to the rest of the family.
My terrible photo taking self met some fine performers two weeks ago.
Very nice, very evil.
I’m sort of getting familiarized with WWE again. Can someone explain what’s been happening with Bray Wyatt? I don’t quite understand what they’re doing with him. I watch video recaps on YouTube and all but what’s Uncle Howdy? Is it him again ala The Fiend? I heard rumblings of a faction? Why hasn’t he had a match yet?
Bray Wyatt is "himself" and a "face" since his return. He keeps having dark events surrounding a new stupid character from his past named "Captain Howdy" interrupt his promos and backstage time. It keeps derailing his moment and cheery nature. He's slowly gotten more erratic and dark since he has returned due to it. I think it's crap but then again, I'm not a Wyatt fan anyways.
Its been like two months and Bray hasn't wrestled a match.
I get the "suspense" of this, but it's all circles with him, i'm bored of the same stuff over and over...
He's a painfully average in ring talent that's been inflated to be something grand gimmick wise because most of WWE is dogshit in that regard.
WWE railroaded and destroyed him for years with big losses to important feuds and the final nail in the coffin was that terrible 2017 WM title match he lost.
However, the dude has maybe wrestled like...9 matches within the span of like 3 years since the 2019 Fiend rebrand (I know he got sacked in Summer 2021). That's piss poor.

Wrestle Kingdom is turning out to be the true forbidden door.
FTR (AEW) vs Bishamon (NJPW)
Karl Anderson (WWE) vs Tama (NJPW)
And I wouldn't be surprised if Impact had a team there too
Mandy Rose got released reportedly due to her Brand Army account.
I’m no fan of hers but that’s dumb.
Vinny Mac trying to suddenly return to WWE is fucking hilarious. It will never happen in a million years. Dude's over here pullin a GOP "BuT i ChAnGeD mY MiNd" move. Bro read the room, open a browser on the internet, check out the dirt sheets, motherfuckers are ecstatic that you're gone.
I think a suspension until she deleted these websites would have been a better decision. If she refused or remade them then it's time for the swing of the axe. Evidently WWE's toy deal with Mattel being breached due to her content is the reasoning for the firing. Either way they unceremoniously ended a long reign over it in a random rushed outing.
As for the actual "scandal" I can't say I give a shit. It's behind paywall websites. I know it's "bad optics" for a mainstream company to deal sexual content of employees but unless you went out of your way to search for it and go to socials for off shoot websites and spend money (unless you get it elsewhere) I don't see the harm. You'd never know from her on television demeanor of this content's existence. It's not easily child accessible anyways.
What makes this hilarious is that the former CEO wants to return at the same time when he stepped down to "retire" not too long before this due to sexual assault allegations and scandals involving paying off women. The hilarious hypocritical nature of that is too funny.

Well, if Mandy can make the same amount of money showing her body instead of destroying it then good for her. But I don’t understand why her boobs are an issue by any stretch of the imagination, it’s not like homegirl was doing porn.
I remember when I was a kid back in 97 or so, they'd tout Sunny as "the most downloaded woman on the internet" . Different times.
The WCW run at the end was a pretty rough go for her. Being fired allegedly over a syringe being found in the locker room, to other assorted paraphernalia. People thought the porno would be the bottom for her, but don't forget the sad embarrassment that was the being in bed with her photo-ops. Wrestling fans can be a sad, sad breed.
Now, on the postive side: The dog-collar match was one of the craziest spectacles I've ever seen. Instant classic that definitely exceeded my expectations. Star ratings are subjective, but I break the scale at ******1/2.
Ropewalk Phoenix Splash. Just when you think you've seen everything in the biz...
Komander! He gets some national TV exposure and he's blowing up. I need him and El Vikingo every week on my screen.
Does anyone actually give a shit about this Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee feud? The crowd seemed dead, the entire beatdown seemed lifeless and the new faction (ugh) members are generic monsters.
I know I don't care about it but they keep pushing it.
