Fell victim to way too much absinthe on friday and left my front door unlocked but managed to align my shoes perfectly and get undressed properly rather than falling asleep with my shoes still on.
No alcohol for me for a few weeks. That one wasn't good at all.

Met a couple lovely ladies tonight, completely struck out with both and have just arrived home alone. One was married but still wants me to flog her, the other I chatted with for quite a while and she gave me a ride home and I gave her my number, so perhaps something will come of that.
Whatever happens in future doesn't change the fact that I'm Hand Solo tonight. Bah!

Drank a couple bottles of wine with the roomy and went to see The National tonight, hell of a good time! I'm starting to enjoy white wine more and more as the weeks go on, I may be becoming an adult. I hope not.

So after thinking my Sunday fun day was gonna be a bust but I ended up hanging out with a couple random girls last that were in the bar after i got off work. I was chilling with my beer and they bought me a shot, one ran into a guy she knew who was in town for ESPN game day madness and next thing i know im numerous shots in and very drunk at 11. I even got a job offer from the one as she is gonna be a GM at some new place that is opening downtown. All in all the night went really well. It's all kinda blurry but I'm guessing that has slightly more to do with the fact that i had been up since 6am but hot damn i had a good time.

So a few weeks ago I drunkenly entered a Jagermeister contest for their Friday the 13th party, forgot about it and today got a package in the mail with a Jager hoody, hat, tshirt, 4 shot glasses, sunglasses, lanyard, bottle opener, and 2 huge stickers. Unfortunately I drunkely gave my old address when I entered so I gotta get all the shit from my parents this weekend but DAMN, I'm stoked.

Well, it's College Night here in Greensboro. SO. I had 2 high ABV beers and one not so high (Natty Greene's North St. Wet Hop IPA, NG's Buckshot Amber, and Founder's All Day IPA) and soon, I'll be out on the town enjoying the sweet taste of PBR and …Miller Lite. Along with shots of vodka and maybe some YAY-ger for ALL THE PEOPLE. I plan on being smashed when I go to class in the morning.

Oktoberfest yesterday was a blast! I usually hate going there but we had two reservations and were about 20 people. Some of my best friends and people I've known for years and some I haven't seen for too long. We downed gallons of beer, I danced with my best ladyfriend (really danced, wow) and I met more people than I was able to keep track of. Absolutely no one was too drunk or caused trouble. Great, great evening with amazing people!
Down, but not out.
Now that I've thought about it, I really see what you mean. Sunday afternoons also sound very convenient in my opinion. I don't see why it always has to be nighttime to start with, especially if you were to drink indoors alone or with other people willing to just chill at your place and vice-versa.

Saturday night went out to the titty bar with some people from work ended up staying up all night. Managed to make it in to work at 6am and somehow get through yesterday. Even though I was pretty tore up when I got there. Being fully committed can really suck sometimes.
Found out one of the girls I work with and her man live pretty close to my new place. All in all other than a work day I barely survived was a pretty good time.

Won a Jägermeister VIP party package thing a few weeks ago, unfortunately couldn't make it out to the bar but they sent me a bunch of stuff that I just got today. Free hoodie, t shirt, bottle opener, hat, lanyard, sunglasses, 2 big stickers, and 4 shot glasses.
