I honestly DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY these are coming back. They were, back in the 90's, cheap cash in's made to trick parents into getting them instead of the actual games. They were infuriating to play and massively overpriced for what they were. For them to make a comeback now, when there are THOUSANDS of free better alternatives on your phone alone, is just fucking INSANE to me! I mean fuck you can get SO MANY ACTUAL GAMES FOR PS4/XBONE/PC for under $15!

Bound to happen. Sources online all swirling that an E3 cancellation announcement is 'imminent'. Bah.

It was starting to sound like the virus wasn't their only issue, but it's proved to be the final nail in the coffin. I'm starting to wonder if it'll be back at all.

At least Xbox is going to be holding an online reveal event around the same time, so it's all the same in the end anyways. Also, WB is going to be showing the next Batman and Rocksteady games, yusssss

I don't remember who said it but I saw on twitter that hey, if there's not a big conference to save these reveals for, get fucking crackin' on the announcements! you don't even have to worry about getting lost in the flood because everything can just come out organically. you're ready to show some video? get that shit on YT and do an AMA or something. get out there and go!

One of my fav 90s FPS was just updated on Steam to match the release that's available on GOG, they added the mission pack Wages of Sin and some much needed fixes. Also included some updates for modern compatibility with widescreen resolution support, i fucking love this game.

Yeaa but it is a sexy ass looking modem. I love every aspect about that wild design and cannot wait to put it next to my other devices; it will be like a little family with my router and modem.

    hahahaha

can it actually be used horizontally? most people who have a/v setups have their equipment on shelves and that's not gonna be able to stand up in those scenarios. seems like a really odd design choice.

I mean if it's really that tall then can it even realistically be laid down in an entertainment center? I know my receiver is pretty flush on the sides so anything bigger than that wouldn't fit and would have to go outside of it.

Yeah it can. I’ve seen a few articles that show it in its horizontal orientation. Looks like a thin little round black stand that comes with it to lay it on its side. Also however, judging solely on disc drive size, saw an article that says it could be the biggest console in ages.

It can be used horizontally, yes. I could care less where it goes, I'll figure out a way to display it where it has a little area of its own so it can glow in all its glory .

Didn't see anything posted about the Polymega yet...

I... kinda want it (if the price was 400$ CAD instead of USD).

that looks AWESOME. but $400 base price, and $80 for each module? yiiiiikes that is SO MUCH MONEY.

I've watched the first episode... I liked it. A mix of history and culture (so far).
