Not having an account on the wiki, I'd like to suggest an update? The "bubbling synthesizer loops" from Throw This Way referenced in the Last article are the same from the beginning of Wish when he's singing "This is the first day of my last days" -- just different notes / tuning. Not sure if that also necessitates saying it contains elements from both "Last", "Suck", and "Wish", but I'll leave that up to the experts.

It’s humbling to know facts are still being unravelled this far into the future of the band.

Cool. I've added that bit to the page. I remember feeling like those weird synth noises at the beginning of "Throw This Away" were familiar somehow. Haha.

Awesome, thank you Piggy! Also, I’ve noticed some differences with the RockBand version of certain songs vs. their album versions. Do you have that accounted for already? If not I could come up with a list / descriptions.

I don't think we have info on that, so that would be great.

Pretty sure 9/15 is correct, that is what is here on nincatalog: https://nincatalog.com/down-in-it/down-in-it-us-cd-1/ as well as some other sources like discogs and the video on IMDB.

The image used on the cover of the Suck bootleg ("Halo 0") is by comic book artist Howard Chaykin, from his series titled Black Kiss.

Here's a link it in its entirety; you'll find it on page 47 (as numbered on the bottom of the page itself).
    https://www.comicextra.com/black-kiss/chapter-TPB/full

    Obviously NSFW.

I assume this isn't widely known since it isn't on the Halo00 wikipage already.

processed screams by Reznor, sampled from "The Downward Spiral"

someone on whosampled pointed to scream being the same sample as in Ruiner

I personally compared the scream from TDS to the scream from the Quake theme. They're the same. The scream on TDS is recognizable as Trent and it has variations in pitch, whereas the scream from Parents is really just one pitch.

I don't think the scream in Quake Theme is the same one in The Downward Spiral. They're both obviously TR, but they're different recordings.

I really feel like the scream heard here at 1:35...

Is the same as the one heard coming in and out on this from 1:08 to around 1:30

I noticed there is no info on the Short Edit of We're In This Together on that page, which is from the recalled first promo CD. I can share scans and info if needed, though it can be found on nincatalog (https://nincatalog.com/were-in-this-...her-us-cd-485/).

I've added the 1-track promo to the halo page, and made slight tweaks to the song page to make it more accurate. The cover art is the same for the 1-track and the 2-track promos, and we have cover art on the halo page, so that should take care of it.

Halsey — If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power

I do not see any mention of clean versions for "Bells In Santa Fe", "Lilith", "You asked for this", "honey", "Whispers", or "Nightmare (Reprise)".

It might be worth noting that the first edition of the Target exclusive CD does not contain "People Disappear Here". No idea if they've since added a download card like what came with the vinyl.

Have you seen these posts by Rob Sheridan: https://www.instagram.com/p/CXMTGivpyzV/ and https://www.instagram.com/p/CXE60davrRm/ ? He discusses some of the artwork he did and even provided an uncropped version of the THTF single.

Cover art for @nineinchnails “Every Day Is Exactly The Same” EP, 2006. Swipe for back cover and radio promo CD cover. This artwork was meant to be reminiscent of the “With Teeth” cover, but quiet and sparse, just a fragile line of text rather than a large logo, to feel desolate and empty. As this was the final “With Teeth” single, by this time in 2006 I had moved on from my original scanner glitch creations that were used throughout the “With Teeth” artwork and I had just finished making a second wave of tour posters (for fall/winter ‘05) that incorporated slightly more photographic imagery glitched with a harsh digital style (the “teeth,” we often called these glitches) through my manual With Teeth glitching process (I offer a full tutorial on this with Photoshop templates on my Patreon - link in bio). So I brought that style and process into this cover art as a natural evolution of previous “With Teeth” work, glitching a photo taken by @jmaxwelliv at a lake bed outside Los Angeles. With the last bit of sunlight disappearing over the horizon, the tracks in the dirt seem to be turning around, as if they won’t reach the next day, instead going back in a circle to start it all over again.

    and

Going through some old stuff, will be posting some highlights. This is the uncropped cover (swipe for details) of @nineinchnails’ #TheHandThatFeeds 2005 single. Created with damaged scanner glitching techniques, and hand-drawn digital pixel linework. The digital lines that ran throughout the #WithTeeth aesthetic were inspired by low-res scientific graphs and data imagery, but for this piece I took them in a topographical direction very much inspired by Joy Division’s iconic Unknown Pleasures album cover.

He also posted a comment in which he gave some background to the scrapped EDIETS video here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CXMTGivpyzV/

Since I know someone will ask about this again: I never saw the discarded EDIETS music video. I was on set for the filming, the set looked cool, Trent didn’t like the way the video turned out for whatever reason, it was canned. When a musician has another artist - a director, in this case - interpret their work, it doesn’t always turn out the way the musician envisioned it, or doesn’t fit the music the way it should, or the concept on paper doesn’t translate to camera, or it was poorly executed, or the lighting is unflattering — there are a million ways it can end up not right, sometimes it’s just not right, these things happen a lot. No one will ever see it, no one needs to see it, the end.

But we DO need to see the EDIETS video, Rob. Hell, we’ve seen clips of the Everything video now.

I enjoyed the tidbit of information about the EDIETS cover, the lake and the wheel marks looking like an endless loop or whatever to match the song lyrics.

    From Rob's Twitter: https://twitter.com/rob_sheridan/sta...29320724549634

Alternate/promo artwork for @nineinchnails ’ “The Hand That Feeds,” 2005. Created with glitched scanner textures, scientific data imagery, and custom manual glitching techniques. From a wealth of experiments that made up the large body of art surrounding the #WithTeeth release.
    When a fan replied:

    “Scientific data imagery”
I was pretty sure I saw some SDS-PAGE in that era’s work.
    He said: https://twitter.com/rob_sheridan/sta...52048613478403

Yeah, there definitely was. There’s gel electrophoresis incorporated into the cover of With Teeth!

    Also in his Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CXb-BSOvlJd/

    On Instagram a fan remarked:

The red cover is very reminiscent of the radio promo copy of Only

    And Rob replied:

Yeah, this was never used for THTF at the time so I repurposed the art for the Only promo

    Two things on Quake OST

    1)Track 6 LIFE

it has been speculated among COIL fans that this track has samples from COIL remix album
How To Destroy Angels (Remixes And Re-Recordings)
to be more exact - first two tracks:

    2) Track 2 AFTERMATH
    According to https://www.nin.wiki/Aftermath
'The track also samples "Blood From The Air" by Coil.'
As a long time COIL fan (former fb group admin too) I admit I can't hear it.
Similarities? Yes but not the sample.

Ok, I've fixed those things. I was convinced that "Aftermath" samples "Blood From The Air" because when I downloaded BFTA and messed around with the tempo, it sounded like things had been directly pulled from it for the Quake track. I guess my ears deceived me.

Just out of curiosity, what parts of "The Sleeper" and "Remotely" are on "Life"?

For example between 1st and 2nd minute of LIFE
And first sounds from Sleeper (woom woom) appear with some metalic stretched sounds from 6th minute of Remotely.
    Might be coincidence?
    Pardon if my English sucks

Check 7:00 to 8:25 or so of "Remotely". "Remotely" also contains the metallic ting/scraping used as a vocal effect for "The Downward Spiral (The Bottom)".

Mike Garson confirmed it is him playing on Halsey's "People Disappear Here" in a conversation on Twitter.

    Tricil asked -- https://twitter.com/tricil/status/1479993881156542464 :

And speaking of @mikegarson via his brilliant work with both Bowie and NIN, is that you on People Disappear Here by @halsey?
    And Mike Garson replied -- https://twitter.com/mikegarson/statu...95120422318085 :

    Guilty as charged.
Which means the credits that are posted with these videos are incomplete (incorrect?):
