Alright, that's fixed. I guess somehow citing slipped my mind while putting together that page, but I've tried my best to cite the vast majority of what I add to the wiki.
@piggy, it’s been a while since I’ve done any extensive ninwiki edits (the last major ones were creating the individual song pages for The Vietnam War, Before The Flood and possibly Mid-90s). Is there anything recently added that you need assistance with? Any pages that need individual song page chronology added? Or missing BPMs?
Also, I haven’t really edited it since the revamp of the entire site. Is it reasonably user-friendly to edit like the old version?
Thanks for the reminder! It's on my list. I definitely had to make some compromises when I decided to have just one responsive skin based on Wikimedia's mobile template instead of having to modify and maintain 2 separate skins like Wikipedia does.
Functionality I need to add back in:
- A "Full Page" edit button as opposed to just sections (workaround is removing §ion= URL param after clicking edit)
- Category information needs to be added back to the bottom of pages
- Styles are missing from the File Upload page - I should at least make the "Upload" button look like a button
- Wiki Categories need to be re-linked from the main menu
- Tours need to be re-linked from the main menu
- Improve the slide out main menu on desktop
- Add 6 new "text label with background image" tiles on the main page that link to wiki areas
(These should basically mirror the items at the top of the main menu. This replaces the functionality of the missing "points of interest" from the old main page)
- Create new sub-templates to replace the old grey HTML tables on the discography page and tour pages
- ...and so much more
Are there any other missing pieces of functionality that you can think of at the moment?
Not sure if this minutiae is wiki worthy, but it would be sweet for reference purposes to know the audio specs for Digital releases (24/48, embedded lyrics, etc.) from NIN.com versus the other Hi-Def audio storefronts.
I've finally done my annual ninwiki dump/backup to archive.org for 2021 (previous years: 2020, 2018, 2017)

Not having an account on the wiki, I'd like to suggest an update? The "bubbling synthesizer loops" from Throw This Way referenced in the Last article are the same from the beginning of Wish when he's singing "This is the first day of my last days" -- just different notes / tuning. Not sure if that also necessitates saying it contains elements from both "Last", "Suck", and "Wish", but I'll leave that up to the experts.

Cool. I've added that bit to the page. I remember feeling like those weird synth noises at the beginning of "Throw This Away" were familiar somehow. Haha.
Need some clarification.... Down In It on the ninwiki states that it was released 09/27 but on discogs and on wikipedia, it states 09/15. Thoughts?
Pretty sure 9/15 is correct, that is what is here on nincatalog: https://nincatalog.com/down-in-it/down-in-it-us-cd-1/ as well as some other sources like discogs and the video on IMDB.
The image used on the cover of the Suck bootleg ("Halo 0") is by comic book artist Howard Chaykin, from his series titled Black Kiss.
Here's a link it in its entirety; you'll find it on page 47 (as numbered on the bottom of the page itself).

Obviously NSFW.
I assume this isn't widely known since it isn't on the Halo00 wikipage already.
Ok, I've added that info. Thanks.
https://www.nin.wiki/Quake_Theme
processed screams by Reznor, sampled from "The Downward Spiral"
someone on whosampled pointed to scream being the same sample as in Ruiner

thoughts?

I don't think the scream in Quake Theme is the same one in The Downward Spiral. They're both obviously TR, but they're different recordings.
I really feel like the scream heard here at 1:35...
Is the same as the one heard coming in and out on this from 1:08 to around 1:30
I noticed there is no info on the Short Edit of We're In This Together on that page, which is from the recalled first promo CD. I can share scans and info if needed, though it can be found on nincatalog (https://nincatalog.com/were-in-this-...her-us-cd-485/).
