Best song so far, the first single didn't impress me and the second i liked half of it, but this song is so powerful!

These three songs are just different enough from each other that I can better appreciate the choice of releasing them just before the album comes out. I am genuinely fascinated to hear how it all comes together.

I would think it's not correct to say Steven made something beyond his three decades of discography here. I mean, it's still heavily influenced by classic music from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. But clearly, he spent a long time developing and synchronizing the more electronic musical themes for cohesive songwriting. There is still a lot to digest, but I am thoroughly enjoying it.

It's an awesome album, it's for sure it will have a better reception over "The Future Bites", since this one is prog and old-school (with new sounds).

It reminded me a lot to "Grace for Drowning"; not on the sound but the concept of putting many different kinds of songs as a unit.

This one might be the best since "Hand Cannot Erase" (but i still love all his solo albums...)

Looks like Burning Shed are trying to order more box sets. Good news for those of us (a lot) who missed out. Whomever decided to base the box set production numbers on the performance of The Future Bites needs a good slap in the face.

We're also apparently getting two no-man box sets of early One Little Indian material announced next week. Take my money!

I didn't care much for The Future Bites, other than the collab he did with Elton. I should also add that I did enjoy To the Bone.. But I am digging the new album besides. I think it's just really good pure song writing from start to finish with some excellent dabbling in electronic beats and keys. I think when Steven isn't trying to force some style, he does his best work. I do see the similarities to Grace for Drowning.

If this were Jeopardy, my response to this album would be: "what if Porcupine Tree had never gone metal?"

Seriously, this album is closer to PT than any of his other solo stuff. I'd even say it's closer to PT's pre-metal material than Closure/Continuation.

I get what you're saying, some motifs/voices reminds me a lot to PT (like the lead riff in "Impossible Tightrope" or the voice of "Actual Brutal Facts").

I'm pretty sure sooner or later he'll reunite PT for another tour or album, he was smart on leaving the door open and i could tell he had a great time playing some of the old songs, but his solo career will always be a priority.

I wouldn't be surprised if Barbieri and Harrison already have some new material with Wilson in the oven. I do think they'll do another album as well. They really seemed to enjoy performing together again.

I honestly had no idea there's an official video for "The Harmony Codex":

The newly released pt live album is stunning, as usual i shall say…
the new songs blend rather well with the old ones. It’s a bit of a greatest hits thing but such great songs, enjoying it very much.
