I took a look at the Casinos website and based on what I know of them and the ticket price, $65 max, I think it is going to be all seats again. I have to say though that on the LITS tour this was a damn god show. I was on the fence about going but i have decided to not be a pussy and go. See you all there.

Wish they had announced this originally. I saw the LITS tour here at mohegan and it's a fantastic venue to see concerts. This show is on a Friday, so I don't have school that night, so I may be able to go. I wouldn't miss this show!

that's kind of exactly what i'm thinking.

not really sure how to get there and back (to NYC or philadelphia), though. anyone have experience going there by bus? i see some buses get there at night and leave in the morning . . is that worth doing if you don't really gamble? liiike, is there stuff to do? . . sorry if that's dumb, but i've only been to casinos for buffets.

There's not much to do at Mohegan Sun unless you like to gamble and spend a ton of money on Food. It's a casino so nothing is cheap. I get many comps for concerts there though, so I don't mind spending money on food (plus i get food comps as well).

Getting to Mohegan is an absolute pain in the ass to get to if you are taking public transportation. It's almost impossible to take a train there, and the buses are mainly for gamblers and old people and from what I've heard very rarely run on time. There is nothing within walking (or really driving distance) distance AT ALL next to the casino that is worthwhile unless you want to travel about 45 minutes south and hit some retail outlet stores.

thanks for the response. hmm, okay. guess i'll go back to plan A (stubhub for Newark/Brooklyn) unless someone wants to organize a NIN party van (playing "Everything" on repeat on the way up, of course).

Sorry to make Mohegan Sun sound like a horrible place. It really isn't bad if you are into food and some gambling. Mohegan Sun Arena is a great place to see concerts as the acoustics are fabulous and the way the arena is set up is superb so every seat is great.

As I posted in the other Barclays thread, I have two extra tickets to the Barclays if anyone is interested. I'm not interested in making a profit so let me know.

Good luck to all who are trying to get tickets at Mohegan!

Envious.. looks like section 2 is right in the middle, so those are going to be great seats. Section 3 row G for me, not too bad..

I'll be driving down from Boston for this and might be able to carpool.

sec 2 row K seats 3 and 4. Damn page wouldn't load when the pre-sale went live! I wouldn't be surprised if row A and B were set aside for almost all concerts for the Casinos high rollers.

    Tickets from the presale.

For those who didn't manage to get good tickets, I remember last time I saw NIN here I had tickets in Section 18 which isn't too bad I guess but I like to be closer (no pun intended) and before I left for the show I checked to see if it was sold out and low and behold, tickets were still on sale and for Sec 14-15 row B! To me those were perfect seats and I bought them two hours before the show. So keep an eye out!

I myself am looking for a cheap hotel in the area....best deal I found was $60 for a hotel about 15 minutes away

Not bad considering its a holiday weekend and the casino is having a concert...usually all the hotels in the area jack their prices way up and are close to sold out when mohegan has a concert

also, mohegan sun puts a ton of tickets on hold for players club members and release the tickets that players club members didnt pick up or comp about 2 hours to the public via the box office and of course they are the best seats in the house...i suggest going to the box office about two hours prior to showtime and see if you can super close

last time i did this i ended up 4th row for TOOL

I wish they would play Hartford again instead of the casinos because everything is so much cheaper there.

still looking for a decent hotel room

I will most likely be there sometime around 630, grab some food then catch the show and make my way into the venue around 8ish...depends on what time NIN goes on..im sure they will go on around 9-915 and the good thing about mohegan sun is that there is re entry so u can go bullshit between the opener and main act

So... when the presale came around I decided at the last minute to NOT purchase any tickets due to sticker shock, and some other factors at the time.

However now I love the new album, loved the festival show streams, and would like to get ONE ticket to this show. If anyone has any they'd be willing to sell to me could you please PM me, and please specify seat / price etc.?

I would greatly prefer to see this show surrounded by fellow fans, as opposed to the typical CT crowd

There are a ton of lower level seats left available through TM, and as I've said a bunch of times in this thread, there is not one single bad seat in the 'arena'. Mohegan Sun 'Arena' is a spectacular place to catch a live show as the sound is impeccable and the way they set up the 10,000 seat venue it makes for the perfect night to catch your favorite band.

Thank you, though TM is currently showing seats with the dreaded "POSSIBLE OBSTRUCTION" label. I saw a non-NIN show once this way and will never again.
I believe I've been to MSA before, possibly even for a NIN show, and I agree it's a good little arena. That said, I would really prefer to end up in a section with other NIN fans, not the general concert going public, if at all possible.

I too just did a search for 2 tickets and pulled up

    Sec 14
    Row H
    Seats 3-4

Which is ridiculously close to the stage but has a 'possible obstruction of view' warning

I kinda wanna call TM and see if there are any closer seats available that dont have the warning, as I am going to be in section 21 which isnt terrible, but its not as close to the stage as sec 14. Sec 21 will be fantastic for the visuals as it has a perfect view of the stage without any obstruction

I had free tickets to MM & Alice Cooper and sat in Sec 15 and there was slight obstruction due to the speakers hanging on the side of the stage, so Im not sure what to do

I always need to remind myself that with MSA your best bet is to get to the Casino around the time the box office opens before the concert and purchase tickets as they always release floor/close lower level seats for face value without a surcharge everytime

    Newbie here.

I've seen plenty of shows at Mohegan in the past, and honestly, there isn't a bad seat in the house. I've been up top along the side of the stage and still gotten some great views. I don't think there is any obstruction in the building.

Also, as far as section 2 seats in the front two rows - I know there were at least some available in the presale. I'm in sec 2, row A.

Did you purchase the closer tickets and also get to refund your previously purchased tickets?

Like stated before I am considering calling TM and asking for an upgrade in seats, although I am pretty satisfied with having aisle seats dead on with the stage in the lower level. Sitting in Sec 14 is quite enticing but I know I will miss the full on stage production.

Also I recently dug out an old digital camera and was wondering if I should even bother trying to bring it into the show??

No I called a friend and offered him my other tickets at a very cheap price since I was desperate to get rid of them. You still have a good view of the stage productions, like pibbsman said a couple posts up, there is no bad seat in the house, but I know what you mean.
