There are a few real time pages on Twitter, laying out what is happening and being confirmed also in real time. Ukraine is putting up one hell of a fight tonight.
We are eating at our favorite local Ukrainian restaurant tonight. Vareniki, Golubsti, Stroganoff on mashed potatoes, and G’s having horseradish vodka (garnished with dill pickles - SO GOOD). We love them, here. It’s like the Ukrainian Cheers. They always remember you.

Kyiv is running out of food.
This appears to be a deliberate Putin strategy.
There are children in bomb shelters who are becoming sick from no heat and there are old people who still haven’t recovered from Covid in bomb shelters.
There are NICU units in bomb shelters.
My prayers are with Ukrainians.

It's too bad that we as "the west", the Europeans, aren't doing more / can't do more to help Ukraine. I'm German and over the course of the last decade our goverment has increased its dependance from Russian oil, gas and coal. Now our hands are basically tied. I'm ashamed.
Turkey is going to block the Russian warships from entering the Black Sea!
where do we think everything goes from here?
I'm really at a bit of a loss.
do we see things like China try to invade Taiwan next?
North Korea invade South Korea?
Damn! Was there a miscommunication or they were talked out of it?
This info was from Zelensky's account.

“Invade” is not really likely.
China has always considered Taiwan as part of China, and the inhabitants as people in exile. China has allowed Taiwan to operate peacefully as of it’s still “the other China.”
The U.S. looks at Taiwan as an ownerless country with exiled inhabitants.
The China-Taiwan relationship is symbiotic and very lucrative.

After that Tweet there was a statement (leak?) from a Turkish government official that they have not actually decided yet on the matter.

I wonder if corporate USA is still farming out work to Russia during the hostilities. There's a lot of that going on. I know of 1 instance for sure (I used to work there) where engineering work is going to Russia at the cost of jobs at home. & the work is suffering from the distance & time lag in communication.
