    Yup and enjoyed it too!

She's a young teenage girl. In the 80s. The hell were you expecting her character to do, sit down and have a deep philosophical chat and give advice on open and honest heartfelt communication?

There is also a theory going around that the show isn't really canceled and this is some sorta meta experience the show is pulling on us. There are threads about this on reddit and it even got picked up by NME.

It's in the 90s and humid here every day - even early in the morning. Took that as a good excuse to watch season 3 of Glow in one day.

I loved it. The actual wrestling part of it was always what I was least interested in, and it definitely takes a back seat this season. The personal story lines, the way they addressed things that were big in that time...man, I kind of wish I hadn't gone through it all in one day.

Got bored and watched Seth Rogen's Hilarity for Charity. Holy shit that Justin Roiland short was the best thing I've ever seen. Beyond NSFW.

I don't know if this show is of interest to anyone here (I hadn't even heard of it before they started filming), but they're filming part of a new show called Madam C J Walker with Octavia Spencer just down the street from my work.

I've got a few photos from the set if anyone is interested.

The part they're doing near my work wraps up today.

Has anyone started the Dark Crystal yet? I'm not sure I'm in the mood for it just yet. The movie both thrilled and creeped me out as a kid (not as much as Return to Oz, but still).

I'm 3 episodes deep so far but it has been nothing short of fantastic. I only watched the film for the first time a few months ago, so I don't have the nostalgia for it many may have, but I am finding Age of Resistance to be a near-flawless follow up.

Oh indubitably! I ended up watching the whole thing over the weekend. The tone stayed true to the movie, and I thought the CGI greatly enhanced certain parts.

I liked it. Funny and touching. But my husband didn't care for it. He was out after episode 2. I'm curious to know how you liked it after watching..

I wonder if it's going to be cropped for widescreen? I hope not, that shit can be a deal breaker if done sloppily.

I've heard nothing but bad reviews for this...although they have all been pretty funny reviews, so there's that.

I just started watching this. So far it's interesting, but Noah Emmerich maybe wasn't the best casting choice. He sticks out like a sore thumb and the accent is cringe-worthy.

Speaking of Rasputin, does anyone remember the mid 90s movie with Alan Rickman?

I've found myself now wanting to watch history documentary series on Netflix. I noticed that a lot of Ken Burns stuff is up there, I'm watching one now called "The West" . only on the first episode. it's rather peaceful and relaxing. and of course, educational.
