    Bandcamp x Epic Games

    Fucking hell, Bandcamp just got bought by Epic Games: https://blog.bandcamp.com/2022/03/02...-joining-epic/

    I'm hoping my foreboding about this turns out to be for naught, and I assume that any concrete unwelcome changes will probably take awhile to manifest, but I can't help but think this is a terrible move. I used to recommend Bandcamp to basically anyone who'd listen to me about it, but ehhh.

    Someone on Twitter mentioned that Epic's 40% owned by Tencent?

    Gah, depressing.

    Well, congrats to all of the ETS members who are now Epic employees. lol

    dunno if this is a net positive or not, but I hope that Bandcamp Fridays continue.
