TR shouldn't have put two instrumentals back-to-back on The Slip. They're cool songs individually, but it gives the second half of the album a strange vibe/energy that I'm not sure pays off.
I personally think the second half of the Slip is more interesting. I think "Letting You" and "1,000,000" are the weakest tracks in the entire NIN catalog.

I agree. I don't really skip any tracks when listening to a NIN album, but those two I definitely get the urge to.

Don't get me wrong, all! I find many of the songs on The Slip quite interesting, but I'm just talking about pacing. IMO there's too much time that passes without hearing Trent's voice on a vocal NIN album.
