Osha needs to calm her tits.

    Also, holy shit Drogon!

Theon's scene was cringeworthy. I know the show likes sexposition, less so this season, but could the scene had played out less like a porn parody?!

Well, YouKnowWho gets his jollies from fucked-up voyeurism in the books so it could've been a play on that. It was still a bit ridiculous though.

Weakest episode of the season, definitely.

the Theon torture stuff is getting to be almost psychotic

but how was the bear scene a let down? It was pretty much what I was expecting.

I liked this episode a lot, and I thought last week was the weakest episode so far. I feel weird thinking any GoT episode is the weakest though, all the plot lines make me appreciate the slower set up episodes I guess.

why are people calling the Theon scene something resembling cheap porn without acknowledging that's part of the point? In the midst of his constant suffering, he's thrown this stereotypical fantasy scenario, and as soon as he buys into it the whole thing is interrupted by his castration. On a whole, the whole scene is far from something that I'd consider pornographic or sexy at all. It's a miserable and horrifying scene.

Meh, the Theon scenes are running on empty. How is this supposed to continue? I think I'd prefer that the show, or the novels, just let go of "spent" characters, i.e. Theon or Stannis. They did their things and failed, so they should die. And there were a lot of "soap opera" scenes in this one, though I do like the show enough to enjoy those.

There was no "I only rescue maidens" or "I dreamed of you" lines. Also, I was hoping he'd shove Locke into the pit since Locke is just the show's version of Vargo Hoat and they probably would cut all that nonsense of how Hoat dies in the book. Didn't Jaime kill the bear in the book as well?

I just realized they won't reveal the identity of Iwan until the last episode. It kinda makes sense since there will be a lot of deceptions revealed in that episode and the preceding one.

Stannis and Theon both have major parts to pay. The Stannis plotline is pretty stretched out in the third book and even more so during the show, so I understand why people think that he's over. Theon doesn't reappear until the fifth book so all this stuff is being written into the show, but my gut instinct is that some of his stuff in the fifth book will start cropping up next season.

Well, this is more an issue of the books I guess, not the series, but I really wonder what role a tortured, disgraced Theon is left to play. I can't see it. I can sort of see the future of Stannis as promised in the flames by Melisandre, especially because the fellowship of the Lord of Light really has big plans for the realm (as evidenced by Melisandre's comment about Thoros of Myr's job to convert King Robert). However, if I was Tywin Lannister, I would have tried to take Dragonstone immediately after Stannis' defeat.

One of the things they cut out of the show is that Tywin either has Stannis' remaining forces come to his side or be executed, if I recall correctly. As delightfully wicked TV!Tywin is, he's kind of a monster in the books.

I see... I also wondered who rules the Stormlands now, but this is probably also book stuff, I guess, and too boring for TV. Well, maybe I read book nr. 3 after this season...

Storm's End is under siege and basically stays that way up to the present in the book's continuity. It's EXTREMELY unlikely that it will be addressed in the show. I barely remember it from the books so it's not a big deal.

Can't believe there's only 3 episodes left already. 10 is just not a long enough season.

Theon must be feeling nuts right about now. Not literally, though...

There were references to something like that happening in the last book, but it was very vague. I was hoping my salty prince was still intact. DAMN YOU, GRRM.

    Re: Game of Thrones

I just want to know more about the walkers, they ended season two with that cliffhanger and its barely touched upon.

i am kinda surprised we've not seen much of the walkers, (i forget how some of these plots played out in the books), the walkers have been almost absent from any on screen footage, however they are the driving force behind the entire wildings / black watch / the wall plotline, so their impact is seen on screen.

They should make an appearance soon although, if the storyline stays consistent with that of the books, it's not gonna be as large scale as the end of season two. They're going to stay on the d/l for awhile.

Interesting. I would have guessed they make eight seasons. But maybe they cut down heavily on books four and five which are rather slow, or so I heard. Anyway, having read the first two books now, I have to say that the producers of the show know what they're doing. The books are good, but the TV show improves them in many many ways.

Books four and five can be cut down a lot for TV, since they don't have many things actually happening. There is a lot of wandering about and a lot of character perspective, but TV can't really show any of this and will likely condense the hell out of it.

That's what I'm thinking, I expected him to come trotting out of the woods. I'm thinking all the ravens were a nod to him but that they aren't going to put him in the show. Either way, an awesome episode.

This season so far i think hasn't been as solid as the prior ones, i really hope these last couple episodes knock it out of the park.

    Game of Thrones

I think this season has been better than the second. And I'm pretty sure the last two episodes will blow your fucking mind. Though, did the next episode preview say it was two weeks away?

Mother of Dragons, Daario Naharis. Unf.

The best scenes involved Tyrion and Sansa.
