Yeah the only UK mainland NIN dates are reading & leeds, which are £90 for a day ticket - I interpret this scala thing as one for the fans

So far. Still quite confident for a 2014 world tour.

Just thinking how amazing it would be if Trent did a run of 5 nights at the scala or similar. The format will be interesting. I'm wondering or this will be live on Zane (Radio 1) or something. Can't picture a film crew but can imagine a radio stream.

I received this email this afternoon...

    Hello,

Thank you for your recent ticket(s) purchase to see Nine Inch Nails perform at the Scala club in London on 20 August. Per venue policy, this show is only open to attendees 16 years of age and older. We understand this information may not have been included on all pages of the ticket purchase process. Please note that there will be NO EXCEPTIONS to the 16+ age restriction on the night of the show as such exceptions could risk having the show shut down by local authorities. Should you require a full or partial refund on that basis, please contact NINTIX@MUSICTODAY.COM before 12:00 Noon London time this Friday, August 16.

    Sincerely,

    nin.com/MusicToday
Maybe some refunds are made and tickets will be made available....

Interesting, however, surely out of 800 tickets there is only going to be something like 10% made available? Would they re open sales for such a small quantity?? I understand no money is being made from this so they do need to 'max' it out.

no, clearly by "production" I mean't something equivalent to U2's 360 tour.

Probably 11. I think I saw that stage time is 8pm but I can't find that information again. If it is 8 then a finishing time of 10:30 is realistic. Kings Cross to Victoria is about 7 - 8 min journey.

Scala has white walls on the stage back doesn't it? No reason they can't play with light and shadow still, even if they won't bother getting those screens in there.

It does, but unless you want to make the audience even smaller (as previously stated they're already doing this by adding a barrier), the lights down the front won't have anywhere to go. The stage isn't terribly deep from what I recall either.

i bet the UK tour will be announced shortly after reading/leeds its usually the case bands play the big fests to get everyone in the buzzed and to get new fans, then they announce their own tour

it's actually not too bad. five people there shouldn't be a squeeze, i expect most of the gear will go backstage which will be more of a squeeze!
not that it matters, of course.

Likely. Reading and Leeds have exclusivity, so they'll have paid for nothing to be announced until after.
I'm sure we'll see the O2 at least getting a date in the first part of next year.

    Hello,

Our ticket presale has ended for this show. Presale tickets are no longer available through this online outlet. Please check on the venue's website or the artist's website for other ticket outlets.

    Thank you,

So not sure as to whom the resale of possibly returned tickets will be.
Really willing to pay anything to go.

Aha...saves some effort then...didn't bother with little things like terms and conditions when I had no idea how long it had been going on for, how long it'd last and how quickly they were dishing out tickets!

Again - good luck to all who venture here...

Entered. Even less hopeful than last Friday, but it's worth a shot!
