One where widely referenced, standard practice rehearsal shows are in fact an internet conspiracy intended to derail discussion forums.
Definitely don't see the singers being around for all the songs, that's be weird. But hey, this is Trent. Expect the unexpected. Whatever, sounded fucking amazing.
I wouldn't be surprised if the backup singers were used on every track. I have a feeling some songs are going to be reworked for them.
lol i bet avery is kicking himself even harder now
First thing I thought of was "classic rock" reunion shows like Pink Floyd or The Rolling Stones where there's a guy in the back playing percussion or an acoustic guitar throughout the entire gig and you can't ever hear him. Except in the world of NIN it would be an unplugged synth.
Now, I'm not saying that will be the case here, but I did think of it.
How can so few seconds give me such a boner? Jesus christ, Trent!![]()
Female vocals give a me a hope for Is Your Love Strong Enough? debut, though I highly doubt it.
For some reason every video posted on instagram does not have an audio, when I play them on my computer. But besides that I was pretty sure that it must be "All Time Low" (by checking the rythm of the lights and by reading words from TR mouth). And then I played this video once again on my BB Z10 (this time with audio) and... I was right! :-D Ha!
The backing singers remind me a lot of I don't like the drugs but the drugs like me and since all time low seems to be about drugs this is might be agreat Manson reference. Since I think that was Manson's heyday it's even more tragic that Trent might out do him on the funky side of things aswell 15 years after Mechincal Animals.
what is there to spell out? The show was announced by the band, who held contests for tickets. None of that ever changed. But because some people on the Internet didn't get YouTube clips and setlists they decided, with no evidence to back them up, that the shows didn't actually happen. Since you feel like you're on another planet, let me explain to you how things work on this one. If you are going to claim that a show announced BY THE BAND didn't happen, the onus is on you to prove that it didn't. The validity of the setlist is a valid topic of discussion but can we please stop the ridiculous "did the show even happen because I don't know anything about it so it must not have" debate? Please?
Backup Singers eh...
Imagine this shit on The Day The World Went Away...
Oh god, oh god.
Some people look absolutely foolish right now.
I vote to commemorate the fact that NIN always had great backup singers
remember Ally, Josh, Robin, Justin, Jeordie, Aaron, and so on and so forth?
Trent is becoming David Byrne.
Next thing you know there's gonna be a side project playing within the set... (I called it here first if that actually happens)
My first thought was of Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense, where they also had two female backup singers and additional musicians.
Bowie uses female backing singers when he performs "I'm Afraid of Americans". Wouldn't be surprised if this made an appearance in Tension. NIN played it at the Scala UK show recently.
