Yea, don't get your hopes up. The only actors I would like to see return are Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio and Charlie said a year or so back he hadn't heard a thing from anyone from what I remember. Or it could all be a ruse and they have something bigger planned for the Netflix shows being integrated into the MCU.

I'm dying for things to start snowballing for the new phase.

saw a rumor that Daredevil could be in Spider-Man as Peter's lawyer but I think that was prior to the multi-verse story firming up.

Spoiler: Evan Peters in the the cast list for WandaVision in an "undisclosed" role.

I suppose this may not be new news, but I just saw it earlier.

They can't really do a multiverse film without an animated Miles Morales cameo, can they?

Well, his uncle was in the Homecoming (Donald Glover) so that plus the "Blip" it's feasible that they could just have Miles there.

My eldest son is getting into some music through Marvel films - he listens to Highway to Hell a lot through Iron Man and he is now listening to Hole's Celebrity Skin through Captain Marvel. He said to me 'mummy do you love Courtney Love? i do'

I know in this day and age keeping secrets for stuff is almost impossible...but man how much would it have BLOWN peoples minds if Toby and Andrew were surprises, like they just showed up at the climax to help!

It will still happen for those who aren't super plugged-in to the Internet. Keep in mind that it'll be cool for you and even more so for them and then for you while you laugh at them. In a good-natured way, of course.

And then there are the viewers that don't pay attention to the story and it'll blow their mind. I remember watching the first Pirates film in the theater and when Jack is stabbed this lady yelled "oh lord they killed him!" and she meant it. She didn't see him palm a coin I guess? And maybe she also forgot that Johnny Depp is the leading man and those deaths happen very very rarely? Still, I think about that lady frequently.

Which part? I did read later that the 3 spiders was not happening. Doctor Strange will play in the Multiverse in his second movie (isn't it in the title?), so will Loki, that sneaky, sexy fiend.

As for that guy in that other Disney+ show: it better be true. And that goes for the post above yours too.

My bad, just the Spidey sign ups!

... And yes, that rumor better be true, but more Loki is always welcome for me. Ugh, I really hope the Spidey thing will happen. The amount of scenarios I have went through including their banter, making fun of each other, fighting together... Fuck I can't even think about the possibilities sometimes.

Just watched Civil War and while I LOVED Black Panther in it, it also made me depressed that he’s no longer with us. I wish I’d watched these films before he died

Watching Captain America Civil War, I felt the film gave the idea that Captain America was ultimately right, but I agree with Iron Man in this one. I felt like if they had been governed by the UN, the whole team would have been there when they found the base and someone could have talked Iron Man round.

So, Alfred Molina is back for the third Tom Holland Spider-Man movie as Dr. Octopus.

So it's basically going to be a Spider-Verse movie I guess.

At first it was looking like some kind of live-action adaptation of Into the Spider-Verse was likely where they were headed (though the rumors of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield being brought back have yet to be confirmed), but now it's looking like they might tackle the Sinister Six earlier than expected with the multi-verse as a way of bringing back old villains so they don't have to introduce new ones. I mean they've got Doctor Octopus and Electro coming back. Sounds like Morbius might cross over, which means Venom and Carnage could, as well. Vulture is still alive. Scorpion and Prowler have been set up. They could easily bring Mysterio back and say that his death was another illusion. I just hope that they remember the lessons learned from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3 and Amazing Spider-Man 2 and don't try to cram both Sinister Six and Spider-Verse into the same movie. Kevin Feige's involvement eases my concerns, but it's still a Sony-controlled movie, which always worries me.

Half dozen in one hand, sinister six in another.

    I'm sorry/not sorry.
