Well this I'll watch...
Are they going to put Morbius in the Sinister Six? That doesn't make sense, does it?
I think this trailer communicates why Sony has a hard time with Spider-Man lately: a deep overseriousness slathered in cheese. This time, instead of beating you over the head with world building it threatens to akwardly pussyfoot around the idea.
The plot of this movie is that Jared Leto hangs out with a bunch of bats and becomes a vampire? Lol
Michael Keaton just can't stay away from bat man movies.
Morbius honestly looks much better than I'd expected. Speaking of things I didn't expect, that's quite the intriguing cameo at the end of the trailer! I wonder if they'll try to make Morbius one of the Sinister Six now.
I think this is what contemporary camp looks like
The Morbuis trailer looks like Venom crossed with Joker...and that cameo feels odd (something that big you'd want to leave for people to find in the film, not give away in it's first trailer) AND why did they use a picture of spidey wearing the Remi suit? Are they trying to say this is connected to both the current spidey AND the Remi trilogy?...my head hurts.
Morbius looks way better than I expected, but I have zero interest in it. As with Black Widow... after Endgame and "Far from Home" this feels very anti-climatic and unnecessary story-wise. And as much as I respect Weisz, Harbour and Pugh they don't fit into this universe at all imho. Or maybe I'm just suffering from Marvel-fatigue at this point.

Marvel edged us for an entire decade and the climax was great but man they gotta let us rest a bit before we can do that kind of work again.
With all of its flaws, I had a really good time with Venom. Morbius looks like it will follow that trend of cheese mixed with an entertaining movie nonetheless. I wouldn't jump the gun and connect Morbius with the sinister six since that makes absolutely no sense, so the Vulture cameo could be something we get at the end of the film. Did he break out? The fact that this is even remotely connected to the MCU leaves me completely intrigued with what they will do with Spidey, with whatever this universe is.
So apparently there is a version of the Sinister Six with Morbius as a part of it... but as a Mojo hologram, sooo..... probably not that.
I also wonder if the Blade movie will tie-in somehow down the road.
But, personally, I don't think it looks campy... and I'm a lot more interested in watching this than say, New Mutants or Venom.
Black Widow looks fine. It's kind of a standalone which seems a weird way to kick everything off unless it winds up having broader implications.
Y'know... I'd like to see Ethan Suplee as Rhino in a Spider-man movie...
I really wasn't a fan of Venom, BUT i do appropriate the stuff it did right. The (almost) got the look nailed down, Tom Hardy really went all in on the role and it had some fun with it. I have more faith they'll look at what people didn't like with the first are fix for the second, plus it does now look like Sony and Disney are playing ball with spidey and MCU characters crossing over...whether these end up being any good...we'll see.
By the looks of it and considering Venom, they should at least end up in the mid-field by MCU standards. I enjoyed Venom way more than the lower tier Infinity-Saga-movies like Thor, Antman and Captain Marvel. And I have quite high hopes with Serkis in the director's chair and a once again a good cast.
What I dislike about Morbius already is that it looks like the Jared Leto show all over again. But they play around with Vulture really openly which makes me think of it being more than just a small cameo.
OK there are some...theories here of how mutants might enter the MCU, and by god some of these ideas are FUCKING AMAZING!
In the least surprising news of the day, Captain Marvel sequel is coming. In more surprising news it's not going to be another prequel (set in the 90's 00's like previously thought) but go present day...so post Endgame maybe, find out what she's up to around the universe, probably find out how Fury got into deep space and what he is up too, and maybe a tease at some of those cosmic threats *cough* GALATUS *cough* and maybe some hints at Nova?
...getting ahead of myself.
How did I miss this?
Aww man, just when I thought I was over Loki... NOT.
apparently he's in time jail?

Reports are now saying Rami is directing Dr Strange 2...and i am HERE for that shit!
Well, him being in an alternate timeline, it makes sense that the TVA would want to imprison him. After all, it worked so well for Odin when he did it in the main timeline...
I think Loki is going to have so much fun with the TVA; burning places down and all!
I'm also very intrigued by Bucky meeting Zemo again. That should be interesting.
Just catching up on this past season of Runaway's, and tonight was ep. 7... damn cool ending! [no spoiler]
As I re-watch the Netflix Marvel shows, I've been coming up with a list of the most sanctimonious characters... and then thought of the other TV shows.
Foggy Nelson (Daredevil)
Trish Walker (Jessica Jones)
Willis 'Diamondback' Stryker (Luke Cage)
Davos (Iron Fist)
Nico Minoru (Runaways)
Alphonso 'Mack' Mackenzie (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.)
Reed Strucker (The Gifted)
David Haller (Legion) (iffy on this one)
I'm sure more will come to me... but feel free to add to the list...
