Not that I'm a stickler for lyrics, but I think it's "smile is red and it's eyes are black."

Tip: listen for bells. Cannot be unheard.

Someone mentioned something higher, but this album could well be a concepty one like YZ was. It could be from the same world at a different time. Who knows

The energy and sound is really fantastic. This will probably kill live. Wish we had a higher quality version!

I agree. This really seems like it fits in YZ universe. Lyrics and vibe. Year One album coming soon?

    I don't like it. XD

I usually like everything that TR releases, so I guess I'll like it when I've listened to it a billion times or in the context of the album, but I seriously like any song from "Welcome Oblivion" (great album imo) much better than this single.

Maybe the sound quality is not the best to judge the music, I don't hate it, but I just don't love it, and his voice sounds awful, but maybe it's just me, idk.

Hey look! It's the other guy that doesn't like this song!

I actually also like Welcome Oblivion much more, and I wasn't exactly thrilled about that one either. Although it did grow on me.

This is just bland pop music, plain and simple. But, to be fair, this is the single, and I rarely like singles....

    *edit*

The better quality version of this is actually much better, surprisingly. Maybe it'll grow like Welcome Oblivion.

    "from nin.com"

That'll shut up the Apple haters.

I was kind of hoping that one of the prints would be the single cover, not a collection of them. Oh well. Still cool art.

I geeked out at the font on the cover.

And headphones + soundcloud's version is tremendous.

I've been playing this on repeat, as I'm sure many have. I love it! By the way, that drone/bass-line reminded a lot of that creepy drone you hear while watching some of the more disturbing scenes in "Irreversible." Great song; I cannot wait for the full album.

The longer version is so much better - the radio edit was good, but the full version sounds right

Glad I'm not the only one who picked up on that.

I dig it. Best NIN track ever? Maybe not, but I think anyone with a soul could groove to this.

Cool artwork, but I don't like the recycled TDS font vibe of it. What I'm thinking is that the sound of this album will be a kind of review of every era of Nine Inch Nails, mixed with his new sonic orientation..... The new song... Is very power pop.... almost like the theme to a super hero movie.

Well, the album's twentieth anniversary is next year, and Russell Mills is apparently the artist for this album. It feels very throwback-y in nature, even though the music isn't.

I like how Trent always just rolls with whatever happens in regards to studio material.
