One of the Twitter comments for that photo says they're playing Ruiner. Probably just trolling but anyone see something I don't?

Trent's hiding the sixth guy. I can smell it. He'll be out there when the show kicks off and we be like AW HELL NAW.

Speaking of 'Yeezus", I think Kanye owes Trent a royalties check or something.

Staying on the NIN/Kanye comparisons, this reviewer name drops Pretty Hate Machine in his review of Yeezus:

    http://www.avclub.com/articles/kanye-west-yeezus,99105/

Even by the standards of an artist who reinvents himself with each release, it’s a drastic departure, so committed to its heavy new sound that it’s easy to picture West hearing Pretty Hate Machine for the first time and immediately racing to the studio to tear down his John Mayer posters.

According to this assuredly not very scientific survey: Nine Inch Nails fans are more likely than other music fans to have had group sex, use Linux, be vegetarian, and be generally unhappy.

The website linked to above is a reasonable time waster, containing such gems of knowledge as, "Nickelback fans are most likely to agree with the death penalty".

Article states he has two kids named Lazarus and Echo, but isn't just the one named Lazarus Echo?

I'm having too much fun guessing what NIN-related it could be (because it isn't). Peggy crossed my mind. Hey, Peg...

But it's a boy, right? Danget.

The first one was just to get the audio out into social media, similar to other bands releasing a lyric video and an official video afterwards.

They did something similar with HTDA - the first video was a tape machine playing back the song, which was later replaced with an 'actual' video.

Just started to watch a BBC documentary series called "All watched over by machines of loving grace" and noticed how excellent its soundtrack was - lots of NIN, Kraftwerk, Clint Mansell, some Eno, etc. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_Wat...entary_series)

I usually imagine Trent Lane as a pre-NIN Reznor when watching Daria. Makes it funnier.
They do have a similar tortoise-slow, Mariana Trench-deep drawl.
