    "Summoner" (New Single)

“It's a bit foggy, but I remember drunkenly watching Flight Of The Navigator one morning and I wanted to make a song that made me feel what I felt at that moment. I’d been up since 1am drinking. The sun was coming up. It was super orange because booze does that to my eye sight. The movie provided the nostalgia and the feeling of flying (when the protagonist figures out how to fly the spaceship.) That's why that woozy synth comes in and out in the chorus. At the same time, it was medieval and witchy sounding. Like something you would play to summon a demon. Or daemon depending on how thick your neck beard is.” - Jon

Wow. That's different. I dig it. Particularly toward the end.

^^^ love it. if the two songs we've heard so far are any indication, i'm going to like this new album more than the first one! (also, didn't like the previous one much at all so i'm glad i'm digging this)

Yea, I didn't really connect with Trágame Tierra. I did like the instrumental album WHORU812. The new tracks sound great.

Love the album. He was definitely in an 80’s kinda mood when he made this.

Three tracks in. Really enjoying it so far. Politics of Living is beautiful.

EDIT: Brilliant album. One of his best.

Anyone buy the album off Bandcamp? Curious if it's 16 bit or 24 bit

2 new songs on the Bill and Ted soundtrack. I assume they are B-sides to the new album because they could easily fit on the album, very 80’s vibe. I’ll be slotting them in for a couple album tracks I could do without.

I like both songs a lot. Maybe more than most of what's on the new album.

I caught Jon and co. tonight and enjoyed the show. Though my only qualm is I don't believe the set was even an hour long.

    Random tidbit:
Way younger crowd (or I'm getting older?).
    No "ifuckingloveyou" at the end.
As a 3-piece tonight, I felt the band was kind of hindered. Too much playback from the laptop.
