got the message I'm good for some GA passes for this Thursday's NJ show! Excited to see the again. Other than the stupid fucking Metallica cover, setlist is looking solid.

I wonder when they'll release the studio version of "Kaisarion" since they've been playing it live. I assume that'll be the next single?
I meant to post about it on Sunday, but I saw Ghost and Volbeat on Saturday and managed to make it one person from the rail for the whole show and it was AMAZING. If anyone has been on the fence about seeing them live, I can't recommend seeing these guys enough. This was my 6th time seeing Ghost and it might have been the best one so far. In fact, it was my first show of 2022 and if not for the fact that I just got tickets for NIN, I'd say they're an early contender for best concert of the year.
It seems "Kaisarion" has leaked somewhere??
No, I wasn't able to check it out on YouTube - it was already taken down.
Hook up appreciated here too!
I pre-ordered two versions of the vinyl (gold with slip mat and red smoke), but I'm not ordering a CD too just for one track.
Solid quality.

Wow, that was really fucking bad, that the fuck happened?
Oooh, that's a rough one. That's not good.
(Insert Captain Picard facepalm meme here)
The Lyrics are a bit silly, but i got no issue with the music.
Normally I can deal with some cheesy lyrics, but these are just too much. Cringe.
The music is great, I dig it - but I'm surprised he didn't create a melody to go with it. If there was a melody, and it wasn't so flat - I think the song would be much better.
Yeah, that song honks. I understand that Ghost is theatrical....thats's what we're here for. But I don't want the song to sound like it's out of some Broadway musical.
That being said, the band was SO good a few weeks ago at Prudential Center. I was in GA right next to stage, and we were able to sneak a few friends in there with us...security was pretty lax. Setlist was pretty good, and like others have said I didn't even mind Enter Sandman that much even though I thought I would hate it. Got some really good and close clips below.
"Griftwood" was leaked. Very 80's! Reminds me of Van Halen.
Okay, I'm liking this one. Agree with Vicky, totally 80s throwback. Doubt we're supposed to post links to google drive here or I'd put it up.
Oh snap!
Some people are starting to get their albums in the mail now. I haven't received my shipment notification yet.
Ghost really reminds me of some 70s bands like Black Sabbath and many others that kinda hit the 80s, maybe lost a few members, experimented with some new sounds and new technologies, and ultimately kinda lost the thread of what made them great to begin with. Hopefully they can still hit on a song here or there. Call Me Little Sunshine was pretty awesome.
Bloop bloop.
"Darkness at the Heart of My Love", that is all.
@SM Rollinger Lucky! I just got my shipment notification and it's not coming until Monday! Poop!
I'm excited for today's YouTube showing! I'm closing my office door and and I'm in a "Zoom Call" lol
Ahh! Spillways - again, so 80's!
Kaisarion, Watcher in the Sky, Hunter's Moon, and Respite on the Spitalfields are my favorites. Griftwood is pretty damn catchy, too. I wasn't the biggest fan of Call Me Little Sunshine and Twenties at first, but both are growing on me. Meliora is still my favorite Ghost album (probably always will be), but I haven't yet decided whether I like Impera more than Prequelle.
For anyone curious about what happened in the "After Party" that you had to sign up for YouTube Premium for - they just played 2 songs, lol. Enter Sandman and Dance Macabre.
My brain wants to start singing "You're as cold as ice..." when "Spillways" starts.
The female backing vocals are great additions at the Ritual.
"Twenties" works far better with the full album.

Does anyone have the YouTube Premium version with the extra songs?
I watched the 4 Impera songs they played, but I wasn't even aware there were other songs being performed behind a pay wall. The main (free) release ritual was pretty cool, but I'm glad I didn't shell out money for those 2 extra songs (I just saw them play those in the flesh last month).
