Good on ya Erik for the live updates! And I still shake my head in disbelief when I see the price for that show. Twenty seven bucks. God damn, so cheap...

Did I read somewhere they might be playing the Soft Moon version of Ice Age live or am I crazy?

If possible, can someone make a list/note of all instruments played (or at least what it looks like they're playing)?
    Cheers!

I was convinced they'd have IYLSE? in the encore. Oh well, seems like a fantastic show regardless.

    Of course!

It IS quite a bummer they're not doing IYLSE?. It'd be a perfect set closer.

Amazing show. Better than NINJA by far. On par with LITS.

Guys the remix of the space in between was VERY much like sonoios version of heart beat. The vocal melody is variated on top of heavy guitar chords that resembled too late all gone.

@sheepdean I will be at Las Vegas, Monterey and San Francisco. Might not be as timely updates. I felt I owed this to ETS though.

The show was excellent; I really enjoyed the visuals, especially the 3D polygon effect during BBB.

Haha, Trent still loves the use of "HEY!" obviously still. Good to see some things never change.

I'm so glad I made it to this show. Everything about it was great and I was happy to hear Mariqueen belt out a great vocal performance.

I wish I could catch the NYC show but that's just not in my budget right now.

Really great show. To add to the instrument summary, Trent's guitar seemed to primarily be his octave-tuned one so he could play it slide guitar style and create his DRONES. He also played a little electric drum kit for BBB and had lots of fun clicking his drumsticks together. I would say Ally was almost 90% bass guitar, and was great at it.

Mariqueen was fucking spectacular. Vocal haters can suck a bag of dicks, because she didn't miss a note.

The Space In Between remix had almost no connection to the original other than the lyrics, as far as I could tell. A lot of songs were even better live. I hope there's a cool document of these versions eventually. Tracks from the original EP were improved a lot -- and sort of modified to fit the WO style. Believers was very different too, only BBB and A Drowning were relatively untouched as far as I could tell. And as we saw in the teaser vid, The Loop Closes got a very prominent disco beat under it that made it more fun to dance to live.

Again, great show. The optical illusion visuals were amazing. People where I stood gasped in shock when they thought the stage was moving towards them. And then even when they realized it was a trick, they gasped again when they moved back. So fucking cool.

    Looking forward to Vegas.

It was an alright performance. The visuals were neat but it felt like they really took away from the performance and band energy. That said, the songs that had minimal visual distractions were really nice and worked. There were a hand full of songs that did not seem to translate well at all live. Overall, it wasn't bad though.

Also, it was nice seeing Gary Numan and Josh Freese swing by to see their first show.

The few songs that didn't translate well, "welcome oblivion, We fade Away" seemed to be due to Trent's guitar being too quiet.

Actually, I thought those were ok. One of my favorite HTDA tracks is The Believers and thought it was not meant to be performed live :/

i wish too Late, all Gone was played. That seemed like it wouldve fit perfectly in the portion of the show where they seemed to pull out all the stops visually, but to no avail.

Yes, I know it is pronounced like that but that's what it looks like. Different things.
