Thanks, that was awesome!
So I'm guessing this is gonna be an instrumental track.
I don't think we should've expected anything else. I thought maybe Josh Homme would sing on it, but I'm fine with whatever we get.
"When I write music, I don't think 'oh, this will resolve to the suspended... I don't think of that shit."
Love it!
Sounds great so far. Can't wait to hear the full thing when the album comes out.
Love the distant distortions Trent lays towards the end. Exactly what the track needed. Can't wait to see the doc and hear all this great music.
Fucking amazing song from the bits we can hear. Also love some of the quotes from Trent.
That was brilliant.
I can not stress how often I watched that clip already. Over and over again. It just wows me to see the three of them getting along so well with each other. I can't wait to hear this track. That clip is simply beautiful.
I would recommend watching the whole doc, Trent isn't just in this one bit, and overall it's a fantastic doc.
I echo the above. Great doc. Grohl is even more multi-talented than I knew.
That's amazing. Pure genius. What bass are Trent and Joshua playing?
No fuckin way with the smoke machine!
This is so annoying - someone has made a copyright claim and had it taken down.
there's a mirror of the vid, i just saw the doc and it was amazing
when is this record releases?
March 11th.![]()
Ok, so it's not an instrumental track. Listen part of the track here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01qnwd3 (around 1h:36m).

sounds good, but I hope there is still lots of space for the instrumental parts seen in the movie to shine through.
Oh Trent you are B-E-A-UTIFUL!

Here ya go... made this a while back.

Those vocals sound really nice to me. Hopefully there'll be some nice instrumental breaks, but I'd be totally fine if there weren't.
There's also another clip further down, different part of the song I think.
I finally had a chance to watch the whole thing, and for anyone who hasn't yet, I recommend it. It's a really great look at not only this one studio, but the evolution of engineering. Trent has a few other bits and pieces here and there, but none of them musical.
Fuckin awesome
