I appreciate the edit, but just so you know, no one has 'the right to be that douchy' here. It stinks up the atmosphere, like farting in an elevator. I like it better when the folks here aren't assholes, and aren't snarky or (openly?) elitist, despite what you might read on reddit or the NIN forums. That's not to say that everything on ETS has to be flowers and bunny rabbits, but compared to just about every other community on the internet, it's less douchey here, and that's awesome.
Let's keep it awesome. Thanks!
The new Times article, with its Stop Making Sense references, makes this Vine from Mariqueen all the more relevant and welcoming!
(aaaandd.... I don't know how to link Vines. It was from June 5! Help, anyone?)
Random NIN Thought:
It's going to be weird getting up at the crack of dawn and making coffee to get ready for a NEW NIN show tomorrow morning.
3 weeks 5 days until my first NIN show! I've waited YEARS for this. It's soooooo close!
Hesitation Marks...bitches.

Perhaps I've drank too much. I've had a particularly bad day, but here goes.
On the eve (in the USA) of the first NIN concert in several years, I am reminded of how much this band means to me. Here's to an awesome tour for the band that has been so dear to me for the past 18 years, and their other fans, as well as the journey we have, collectively, enjoyed along with TR.
All the best to all of you!
Hopefully, that is not too random, even for this thread!

This is when ETS tends to gets rrrrrrrrreal fun...live play-by-play outbursts and all good shit... This one sure is special though, with the broadcast available and knowing we're on the brink of brand new songs very likely being played. Some of us may not even go to bed. And, it's the return of NIN. Trentus has risen. Come on...
During the course of the show, should we express our feelings here or in the show thread?
Here here! I have all the bootlegs for all 3 of the NIN shows I've seen and this past month was a great time of revisiting those shows while I've been hiking and doing cardio work outs. This is an awesome time to be a Nine Inch Nails fan for sure!
So with the show airing at 8:30 EST...guess that means I'll wake up at 7 AM to catch it since it's playing at 7:30 CST.
I guess this app is old news, but it might be cool for some ETS people to add each other on here before a show and try it out live. Well, if they can get a good connection on site and have a decent amount of data. I haven't used it myself but I'm assuming it uploads on the spot. Worth a try?

Japan is one hour behind us. It's 10:30pm tonight.
Currently it's 3:23pm on Friday there - it's 4:23pm Friday here
Over half a million views... so glad I recorded this in 2007 lol.
edit: Speaking of recordings, I still have my 2005 recordings somewhere but the quality is really crappy.
Shouldn't that stream be up already? Show's starting in 15 minutes and that youtube channel is just chilling there like nothing's going on
show starts in an hour. 14:30 where you live.
yeah I forgot to include summertime in my time conversion. Thanks
No prob! For everyone else: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=2161
