    Here’s one I don’t think we’ve talked about much.

Listening to The Slip for the first time in a while, and the “how did I slip into—” part of 999,999 kinda sounds like TR is reading from a longer verse or piece of prose or something. Does anyone know anything more about it? Read anything?

It would be cool if they brought back the weird samples from movies and stuff that was in the PHM era.

The one Ministry posted is a screenshot from In Case You Didn't Feel Like Showing Up. Matter of fact, it's the thumbnail of the So What video on YouTube. My guess is the other two are NIN and Nitzer Ebb. Looks like each band posted a version with their own image.

Department of blame it on the weed: I had a brilliant idea. Have Danny Elfman join NIN. It would be beyond amazing!

It would be sweet if they added HEALTH as an opener on these new shows so they could perform Isn't Everyone? together.

What are the other two images of? Ones looks like looking up at the moon in the forest at night but can’t discern the second one.

    Think it might be this

The NIN one is giving me HLAH video vibes, but I'm not sure

I'm feeling like @kraw has a pool going to see when we will ID the imagery in the announcements.

3rd image seems like it's Trent using the mic stand to smash a keyboard at Woodstock 94.

I don't know which is the best place to post this, but god (money) I'll do anything for... some new NIN music right now.

I'd even be happy for a super slow tease of clips that evolve over the course of months like 1999 Fragile era...

i really miss the mystery and intrigue of early nin.com. the fragile build up was so interesting. even better was that 2005-2007 when we got a new photo practically every day on tour. there was thread here on ets where everyone would race to be the first to post that day’s photo. the silence these days from reznor sucks for me personally. i miss him on social media. he doesn’t use nin.com to speak directly much anymore. the site use to change a tiny bit and we’d all get excited. his twitter account seems to be more about observation than participation. i get why he’s become elusive again but i don’t like it. I’m sure it’s better for him and really, he doesn’t have to cater to us anymore. the tour is selling out without even a peep from him.

I definitely miss Trent being more interactive with the fans. I became a fan during the Year Zero/Ghosts/Slip era, so I was very spoiled by all the attention and teases he gave us. That said, having a family and juggling two different music careers must take up a lot of his time, so I can see why he doesn't do that anymore. All the negative interactions he had to deal with probably didn't help either.

honestly i think that mystery and intrigue and all of the interactivity leads to all those amazing memories and nostalgia which just makes us love the accompanying music that much more, i'd love for it to return too, its what makes music not feel disposable in the digital age, not a vinyl imo

That Nitzer Ebb stylization is from the 88/89 Belief era

Really hoping we see some more live debuts this year. Not sure how they would pull this off, but I could see the ensemble making this one work.

Hey! I was at that show. I remember this one they played when they came back out for the encore and I thought to myself "Really? This one?" since it was in such heavy rotation on the With Teeth tour. Guess it was a rarity post-WT. I can't even recall if You Know What You Are? was played on the Lights in the Sky tour.

We haven't had a traditional full nine inch nails album in 9 years. I hope we get one soon.

I'm hoping he drops it this year during the tour or shortly after. We're probably not going to get many more albums or tours from NIN as we know it. We're all getting old.
