This is why the vinyl market is gonna collapse and all we're going to have left is tape labels. They're doing the same dumb shit they did with CDs but with an infinitely smaller demographic: Gen X and millennial music fans who are still obsessed with physical media almost 20 years after Napster helped blow it all up.
Capitalism is so stupid.
Is it not limited at all? Like, it’s a standard double LP? Black vinyl, no special extras, no numbering or anything? I don’t think I’ve ever seen something repressed on vinyl cost that much without it having some sort of unique thing that helped justify it (and even then a lot of “limited edition” releases are ridiculously priced).
..but you got a cover of U2
Less of a random thought, more of an FYI.
Accidentally ordered a 2nd Logo zip up hoodie and had it arrive today after ordering one back when they were first put up on the store. Damn, this one is so much warmer and larger, the only downside it's like a super dark grey rather than a proper black looking black like the original was.
It's hardly KMFDMs fault what some idiot on ETS says about Me, I'm Not
Just got a copy of NTAE for my birthday!
Almost all the replies to that post above on the Fader twitter account are shock and complaints about the absurd price. Maybe they'll adjust due to the consistency of the feedback.
I still feel kinda miffed that Deviations was $80 and didn't even come with a booklet, but at least that was four records!
I love the designs from WT and YZ, TS had awesome designs and I totally agree with you and getting a few extra... for when one wears out you have a replacement. Speaking of shirts.... I'll blow this thread up also...
ETS Shirts!!! We want them!!!

They trying to recoup some of the losses from so many people downloading NiggyTardust for free way back when?
Is anybody getting this message when they visit nin.com ?

yes i am as well. it seems to happen a lot.
Yeah, I figured it was the Queen's English. Thanks, I don't visit it too often, just wanted to make sure it wasn't my system.
NIN and Muse co-headlining tour... the light show... the glorious light show.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity of a lifetime to interview an idol of mine in Shaun King. He overheard me talking about NIN to our videographer because I had a little NIN pin underneath my graduation garb, and he saw it.
AND THEN LATER SHAUN BROUGHT UP NIN AS WE WERE FILMING. Which is just such a wild trip for me. Getting one of my idols to mention my musical obsession. Pretty cool.
Edit: Lol

There's a lot of albums I'm pumped for this summer, but I think "Bad Witch" is easily my most anticipated.
Last night, I listened to Year Zero front to back with headphones on, which is something I haven’t done in about a decade.
In our current political climate, it’s turned out to be sadly prophetic, but goddamn, what a great record. I got really into the different narratives/perspectives, and I love all the textures, glitches, and little nuances that are lurking in the shadows of pretty much every track.
I loved the ARG and the album itself when it originally came out, and it’s a bittersweet feeling how well it’s held up 11 years after-the-fact.
I also gave the front-to-back headphone treatment this past week to The Fragile, With Teeth, Broken, NTAE, and Add Violence.
Good times.
Does anyone else feel like David Carson should have gotten a co-credit on the design for NTAE?
I got another NIN gift for my birthday! A definitive edition of Downward Spiral on vinyl! I've been listening to it since I got it.
Right now, I'm listening to halo 3 in its entirety as I'm also creating a new review of the maxi-single in my music blog. I wonder if anyone else here likes to revisit the entire discography in celebration of a new release or for an upcoming show?
I'm curious as to what is considered a cover for that release. The wiki has seven, but two of them are almost exactly the same with what looks like a minor glitch in rendering, two of them are just color inversions, and only three of them were ever used as the cover. Are the other four really covers, or are they just promotional artwork?
