Is it just me or is Nin having a revival in terms of their music being used in trailers and movies. Almost as if there is a sudden interest in their music for such ends, or did people never realize that ghosts was under the CC ?

A revival? When did they ever stop using NIN music in movies and trailers and tv shows? From over the last few years, I've heard NIN used in Fringe promos, Law & Order, The Hangover sequel, Cabin in the Woods, Person of Interest, that crappy Doom movie, various Cash version Hurts in that Wolverine movie and other places. You can't have a revival if it never ended.

To be frank, all those examples are at least like ten years old. And I wouldn't count Cash's version of Hurt.

Particularly Doom example is twelve years away now.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but the bass on the song White Mask somewhat reminds me of The New Order's song 586.

NIN was mentioned by JackSepticeye (one of the more popular YouTube gamers, 15m subs) . Not exactly sure what the game he's playing is about, but some character had a pixelated cover of Year Zero for an avatar and Survivalism is mentioned briefly.

Sometimes I go over a mental list of almost every single artist I grew up loving and I look at where they are today, and I am thankful as fuck that TR is alive, doing well, and continuing to make music - doesn't even matter whether I like it or not (which I do). Just something I'm very, very grateful for.

I'm doubtful it will be played live during the upcoming shows, but I'd still love to see "Before the Flood." I just can't decide which instrument I'd prefer to see Trent playing on the track.

However, in relation to the album of the same name, I do feel we'll get to see "A Minute to Breathe." It just seems like a nice closer, especially if you use the "Na-Na-Na" verse to lead into the closing of "The Day the World Went Away."
