Man, don't put random USBs into your computer. Like, I know that was cool in the ARG but do you know how easy it is to get a virus that way

I didn't know NIN started selling audio/visual templates for live shows.

There's being inspired, and then there's that

Indeed, so he can play backwards guitar on perennial classic, "The Great Belew."

I wouldn't even call that being inspired man, that's just a straight up rip.

The soundtrack CD releases are kind of mysterious, imho. I just ordered Before the Flood on amazon as the price went down from 48 € to 34 €. Which is still a lot but kind of justifiable for a 2 disc package. Still not much details (like track listing, cover art or even the full list of artists) in the description. It also says "ready for delivery in 1 - 2 months and of course no auto-rip. So the waiting continues. But I am eager to see if it will really arrive here some day.

But that means that there is still hope for a Patriots Day CD. So I will wait some time before buying that in digital form too. Hmm...

To make up for the wait I also ordered Scary Monsters, Recoiled and the Sin single. So I will have something new to listen to in the meantime.

I would not mind if Trent brings young blood to the live band, especially for guitar, I love Robin but at the same time I have the feeling that I would enjoy something new. The idea that the guitarist might be a girl, as was discussed in another thread of this forum, would seem interesting and would also allow us to hear live the second voice of She's Gone Away in the chorus, or the spoken verses in french from La Mer, or even The Great Collapse.

The Internet is giving voice to everybody thinking that someone gives a s*** what they have to say and they have the right. I think, in general, that has created a toxic environment for artists and led to some very safe music. I see a lot of people making formulaic, made to please, vegan restaurant patron-type s***.

TR reviewing the new The XX album?

I want Aaron back. His ability to create melodic chaos, and not just sonic chaos, is what a live rendition of NTAE sorely needs.

Agree the new stuff is perfect for his style but I doubt he'll be back with nin ever.

Yeah, it is. But it's always been my dream to become the new Meathead. I even tried to make cartoons like him ten years ago. Have you ever seen my unfinished Flash animation version of The Broken Movie?

Especially after that article that had him dealing with possible mental issues and living in his truck.
