I'm not quiet sure anymore wether it was the radio-leak of "The Hand that feeds" in shitty quality or the leak of the complete "With Teeth" record, but anyway, Reznor posted a statement later that day where he would spoil the end of Clint Eastwoods "Million Dollar Baby", which was just released at that time.
So, when you now hear him in interviews saying something along the lines of "Well, I used to get mad when leaks happened, but then I realized why am I mad at these guys?", he's thinking back to that evening.
EDIT: Hihihi, gotta love the ninternet, it's still there:

I miss TOTOM
MAD, why was the second one so awesome?
I loved how well the TPD drum break was mixed with Session. And I usually hate mashups.
Does anyone know the origin of this little beauty?![]()
It's Meathead's "Lights in the sky tour funbook", awesome stuff as usual

Was thinking someone should get to work on a series of unofficial nin/related compilations. So much shit out there that would be cool to have together on a couple of cd's. or just to keep things neat on itunes/mediamonkey etc..
Am I the only one who thinks The Great Destroyer is terrible? That cheesy 80's scream doesn't help it at all either. Much prefer the Modwheelmood remix.
I always thought the modwheelmood remix would have made a great Bond opening song.
I remember not liking TGD at first but it grew on me. I think the scream is supposed to be a bit cheesy and throw back-ish. I also love that it totally freaks out my aunt if she's in my car when it comes on.
I actually think the scream and then the transition to noise is the best part of the song
The breakdown is my ringtone, always fun in public.
I can't get over the amount of TR stuff that has gone as of late
HTDA EP and LP
Gaming soundtracksCall of Duty Black Ops 2 Theme
Beats Audio
Secret Studio work (Gary Numan)
New NIN
Telpathe Remix

Yeah, we'll probably see "New NIN" not sooner than 2014.
Reznor went back to the label infrastructure = Dylan went electric
About the whole hero in the studio thing, what about Robert Smith / The Cure? I remember a tweet about Trent seeing them in LA and it reminded me of this interview (the para beginning Every city in America)

He said we're not likely to guess this one, and that one is pretty obvious, so ... He said "experimenting" so the David Lynch speculation seems really off-the-wall weird and therefore plausible. David Lynch making music is the last thing *I'd* guess.
He is rumoured to be working on Lynch's daughter's upcoming film http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1621415/
If David Lynch and Trent Reznor work together again, I seriously might blow into a million pieces because of the overwhelming awesomeness.
I'm in New Orleans for a conference, and happen to be staying within walking distance of the site of Nothing Studios. Gonna wander over there tomorrow before I fly out.
I did that when I was there in 2010. My friends & husband were nice enough to humor me and go with.
I snapped this one:

I listened to with teeth today for the first time in a very long time. It's funny to get the chills from my "least favorite" nin album. I didn't expect that.

If you're thinking what I'm thinking, then we're both going to hell for it!
