My job, there is more than enough places to sneak off in a corner and check. Did it constantly leading up to the release of untitled lol

That was news to me... Danny fuckin' blew it, talking about those demos on the air. Sony is gonna be breathing down his neck trying like fuck to get hold of those, now... Buckley is their golden goose, even twenty-odd years after his death.

I'll admit to laughing at that actually, but I'm staunchly anti-leak.

Just because Danny heard Buckley's demos doesn't mean he had/has copies. He was not referring to the Rockabilly stuff. That is already out there. I have that album and you can find it relatively easy online. Reminds me of Southern Culture on the Skids, perhaps a little more country-western. I think Danny was referring specifically to Buckley's own home demos, which some of that material ended up on Grace.

According to the liner notes, the package A/V presentation contains a track ("Recusant Ad Infinium") that isn't on the CD or the digital download.

Also I hope she leaks that soon.

Some people think it's Adam's daughter...which kind of makes sense with what he's said.

First Tool album with lyrics in the booklet!

Noticed an extra “to” typo in the lyrics to 7empest though, lol.

The way she is manhandling the packaging is hilarious. I can literally feel all the diehards cringing while watching it.

I got anxious when he (I think it’s Jones’ son) took the booklet out so savagely haha

For the love of all that’s good and holy, will someone just drive down to a record store and bribe the manager for a copy?

Watching that was worth nearly $40.

People complaining about that package can eat butt.

I definitely cringed while watching it. It's such a beautiful package and I'm so careful & anal with my stuff.

Did it involve lsd? I saw tool at lolla 96 (I think,) on a headfull of acid, and I freaked out and left, because of Maynard 's leotard and white mask, and, I think, go go boots, and because Justin (I think) was painted blue. I just was NOT prepared for that shit. Luckily, I didn't go ALL the way outside. I went to get some water and calm down, and the way the venue was set up, some of the concession booths were outside of the area where the stage was. Then, I realized that the band was on TV monitors all over the place, and freaked out all over again.
I got a grip, though, and went back in, after a few minutes.

    So.

    Still no leak?

Also, I wanna throw my two cents in on this special package issue. I absolutely do not have $40 to spend on it. BUT, if I'm understanding what it is correctly, $40 sounds more than fair, considering how much shit costs these days. I would've estimated such a thing to cost at least $100

I'm wondering: is that, perhaps, the only music played in the A/V presentation? Or, will the package play the entire album, with various artworks?
Do we know any of this yet?

Also, who's ready to start analyzing those lyrics?

    It's like $65-70 in Canada.
And that's BEFORE shipping is added on!
I would have paid $40, but not $70...

It is nice package though, but not "drop $70 on a CD nice" lol.

Saw something earlier in the thread that said the video is 6:23, so it's not the whole album.

I can't get over how cool that packaging is. I think this is my favorite packaging and presentation of all of the Tool albums (and I'm not just saying that because it's new and I'm an over excited fanboy). It just has so much going on even without the screen, which I almost forget about when looking at that amazing artwork, spot UV, foil stamping on vellum, and what appears to be a magnetic closure holding those thicc halves of the thing together. They pulled out all the stops on this thing. They can't be making much money on these as I'd imagine the cost per unit is fairly close to what they're charging given how many bells and whistles there are. Also, it looks like the Opiate priest got promoted to Fear Inoculum Pope.

I've never seen this before and I thought it was super cool. There's so much going on with Schism that it's crazy.

$64 on Amazon.ca, which is like $48 American. I dunno, seems like a good deal for what you are getting (and these WILL go up in value if you keep them in good condition).

EDIT: I was gonna watch the unboxing video but it was spanked down by Sony. Bastards! Guess I'll wait until I can rip it open myself...

Sony are so strict, Adam can't even post a video of his kid doing an unboxing?

How will we get a rip of that audio?

Also, lol at the name Dan Druff in the liners: https://www.reddit.com/r/ToolBand/co...ng_about_this/
