Same thing happened for the Calgary show on the Tension tour. They couldn't use the production because of the way the venue was layed out. Something about not having the proper infrastructure to hang shit from the ceiling. They still played, but an altered set.

i think it they just had the back panel lighting, but no screens. There may be YT vids out there, shouldn’t be hard to search.

That was a different one, I think @ninlive was at that one? It was more of an auditorium than an arena so the screens couldn’t go up all the way or something, but it had the full production. If my memory serves me right Trent said “thanks for letting us play your high school prom” lol.

Yeah, sounds about right. They played a few songs (Starfuckers) that wasn’t part of the of the static setlist.

I dunno, maybe we should hold our horses here. East and mid west shows, then Sacramento, and back to the east coast?

Is the song Aenema considered to have "good" lyrics?

i sure thought they were cool when i was 13

i think at the time, they seemed very insightful and prophetic, but looking back, they're kind of similar to that APC song on eat the elephant that's very "old man yells at cloud"

You know, I used to laugh at the fact that an old man was yelling at a cloud but.... I find myself actually yelling at them sometimes myself... Like, when you think about it, if you have an outdoor activity planned, like a music festival or something and it's raining/cloudy you will get mad at the weather/clouds... It's actually a justifiable thing to get mad at. Maybe I'm finally considered "old man status" haha.

I've done tours like that before. It's dumb, but not unheard off. But as mentioned already, yeah...different months

I'd certainly say they're well written. But obviously taste is subjective. Why, do you think they're bad?

I wouldn't any of Tool's lyrics are bad. But I see of lot of "dislike" towards 7empest or others, and I was curious if Aenema was once had the same fate.

Probably one of my top 5 NIN shows. Yeah, the ceiling wasn't high enough at the venue. Which did not allow them to bring in the whole stage lighting. But hearing Meet Your Master and Ghosts 8 was enough for me!

Tool videos have officially been posted on YouTube, but Sober, Prison Sex and Aenema are censored. Lame.

These have got to be huge venues right? Thinking that Brooklyn show has to be Barclays, although King's Theatre or Brooklyn Steel would be awesome.

I think the Brooklyn Show is Barclays Center too. The Uncasville, CT is definitely Mohegan Sun Casino.

Chicago and Philly were already leaked as being at arenas (and I think someone on reddit a couple months ago said tool had AT&T Center in San Antonio booked), so I'm pretty sure the whole tour is yeah. Little Caesars Arena is available Nov 9 for Detroit so it's almost assuredly there.

Yeah most likely NBA arenas. They aren't playing anything smaller than Banker's Life in Indianapolis during November.

LA: The Forum and Microsoft Theater both have events on 10/20. The Staples Center seems to have something on 10/21, but it’s in the afternoon, so I’m guessing it’s our best bet. Can’t really see them playing anywhere else in LA.

The dates do match up for the Staples Center.

It's kind of weird there isn't a Vegas date.

Yeah, like I said there’s some afternoon event listed on ticket sites, but it’s not clear what it is or if it’s even an actual event. Either way, it doesn’t seem like it would interfere with an evening show.
