I was at Rock am Ring when it was QOTSA, Tool, Radiohead, Manic Street Preachers, Orbital, and Outkast... and then Tool played on the second stage at the same time as Radiohead, and people were throwing beer bottles at the band and demanding they hurry up and play Creep already. Guess I should have gone and seen Tool instead.

It was a lame festival... as I walked into the crowd, some guy wearing a beer helmet was being hauled out at noon on a stretcher, and when I got in the crowd some guy whipped his dick out and started pissing all over the crowd around him, laughing drunkenly while apologizing while he pissed on my shoes (and the shoes of everyone around me).

    It sucked!

My German friends warned me not to go.

I think it was Danny that said that. But while my knowledge is near encyclopedic I am humble and admit to the occasional flaw.

EDIT: If that’s the case, these streams are literally the worst possible way to get a live show out there.

Respectfully, isn't Salival a live CD?
    Am I missing something here?
    Is Salival the "odd one-off?"

Salival is an odd duck because, yeah, it’s live. But I’m pretty sure it’s been touched up after the fact with corrected parts.

The version to which I'm referring didn't come with a duck, touched up, or even a standard Duck. Were the Ducks limited edition?

...and, I'll see myself out. Sorry; I couldn't help it.

I want this to be true just the for the sheer absurdity of it all. It’s well-done. It’s right in line with a portmanteau like Ænema/Ænima.

^ It may very well be BS but I do really love that Tool logo. The track names are some what believable. A quality effort if it turns out to be fake.

DLB on Eat The Elephant and I.S.G. on this? It might just be crazy enough to be real.

Everything is believable, except for the artwork, (aside from the logo.)

The parts that look like they should be symmetrical, aren't symmetrical, to the point where part of the bottom is cut off, ffs.

I don't think that would happen with a band that, ostensibly, includes a practitioner of Enochian magic.

Could've been a camera shot, that's why it's cutoff. Anyway, I suppose we'll find out soon enough...can't wait.

Still, though. The whole shit just doesn't look right.
You ever look at Enochian symbology? And, Danny seems to be getting deeper and deeper into it. I just couldn't imagine him going for art that looks like it should be symmetrical, and isn't.
But, yeah, who fucking knows? Maybe he was outvoted.

Yeah, that's the thing. At this point, we're only four to six weeks out from seeing official artwork anyway via label, preorder and mass production. Speaking of which, I hope we get something special for the physical media like a Blu-ray with Bob Ludwig's full resolution studio masters.

it seems that the meaning of chode has changed over the years, or, is different in different areas.
I don't wanna get super descriptive here, but, going by what the word meant in my day, in the dfw area, all men have a chode.

The Coward – “I’m Afraid of Vaginacans”
Passage (For Regardie) – Obligatory Vaginal Trac(t)
Invincible – “Those things can take a pounding” / The Betty White Mix
    I.S.G. – In Search of the G-Spot
Chöd – God had a sex change
Descending – Can we move that picture of your dad?
    Abyss – Hotdogs And Hallways
The Give In / The Dive – You’ll figure it out

A Chod is definitely not a penis.

Well idk what your understanding of what a chode is, but my understanding is that it is a penis that is wider than it is long.

When in doubt, I always go to Urban Dictionary for facts:

Chode, to a lot of people, means taint.

Looks like junior (Tool's lighting guy) said two of the songs were correct (you know which ones haha). There are some other interesting pictures in there...

Starting to get the feeling that August 30:
    • - First official studio "single"
    • - Pre-order info
    • - The album title, tracklisting, artwork reveal
    • - Music video?

Hope I am wrong and that the date is the actual release but...
