Oh I didn't know that. I thought it was the same setlist as Emotive tour that followed.

Sounds pretty likely that the guys are trying to raise funds for their various projects. Is Billy still signed to a label right now? Puscifer is independent and so is APC.

Ashes isn't signed to a label and neither is APC. Billy said in an interview before the last show that he was selling the stuff because he got all new gear and it was just taking up space. I'm sure funds have something to do with it as well.

It's one of the Acoustic Live Singles released in 2000. To my knowledge The Hollow, Sleeping Beauty and 3 Libras were the only three songs released (and/or performed?).

    Check here for info.

They also performed Thomas but didn't release it, the only version available is fan-made.

Just as an FYI for everyone there was a person on ebay a while back selling these

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/A-Perfect-Ci...E:L:OC:US:3160

The three tracks they have listed as "demos" are actually the acoustic radio show tracks. I love that the one track that should actually be labeled "demo" (Orestes) is not.

What's the story behind the Orestes demo? Was it before Maynard joined the band?

Obviously not, since Maynard wrote the lyrics.

Really? I remember reading more than once that he had written that and sung the demo before MJK came in to the fold. Billy originally envisioned APC having a female singer, but once MJK came onboard, apparently Billy just felt it 'clicked' and then went from there.

edit: I'm seeing multiple online sources saying Billy wrote the lyrics.

Link? In the commentary for the Judith video, Billy says that Judith was the only song that he gave Maynard any lyrics to go with the music and that only a few lines were ultimately used.

I believe it was Ultimate Guitar or some other magazine where Billy said he got the name of the band from the lyrics, wrote it and recorded the demo long before MJK officially joined, but who knows.

I actually asked him about this years ago because it was a debate even back then and was told that it was recorded "after the song was half way done" because he "wanted to hear it stripped down"

Maynard wrote all the lyrics on the record and the name was picked after the band was assembled sorta at the last minute.

Seeing APC on Sunday @ Soundwave, then Puscifer on Tuesday.

    Then Tool in May.

    Maynard should just move here.

That is what I thought, but with Six Feet Under not playing I didn't know if everyone would get bumped up. Three hours doesn't seem to be enough time between the Puscifer and APC sets.

    Well played.

Are set lists considered spoilers? If so do not read below:

    SETLIST SPOILERS!!!

So I was at Soundwave Brisbane yesterday. Lots of people there to see APC. So what do we get? Mostly eMOTIVe songs, one song from Mer de Noms (The Hollow, I'm not counting 3 libras remix which most people didn't recognise and doesn't hold a candle to the original anyway) and two songs from 13th Step. I enjoyed the eMOTIVe songs but they didn't belong at a festival. People are People? Seriously? That song is shit on the album as it is. However Passive and Counting Bodies Like Sheep kicked arse. Rant over.
