Sounds pretty likely that the guys are trying to raise funds for their various projects. Is Billy still signed to a label right now? Puscifer is independent and so is APC.
Ashes isn't signed to a label and neither is APC. Billy said in an interview before the last show that he was selling the stuff because he got all new gear and it was just taking up space. I'm sure funds have something to do with it as well.
Getting rid of a closet full of CDs. I have this that I can't find any info on.
It's one of the Acoustic Live Singles released in 2000. To my knowledge The Hollow, Sleeping Beauty and 3 Libras were the only three songs released (and/or performed?).
Check here for info.
yea its this

Whats it worth i wonder? selling all my cd's off.
These are the Acoustic APC versions I am aware of:
official:
hollow
beauty
libras
orestes (demo)
hollow (c.c. mix)
lo-fi bootlegs:
thomas
hollow (take 2)
outsider
stranger
powerless
if there are others, please for the love of the unholy, tell me.
Did APC do a cover of Eulogy before or was that in my head?
it was floating around on some bullshit bootleg. bet 10$ that that was actually String Quartet cover recording
yeah, APC never touched any Tool songs. closest they got was "Judith"
Just as an FYI for everyone there was a person on ebay a while back selling these

The three tracks they have listed as "demos" are actually the acoustic radio show tracks. I love that the one track that should actually be labeled "demo" (Orestes) is not.
What's the story behind the Orestes demo? Was it before Maynard joined the band?
Really? I remember reading more than once that he had written that and sung the demo before MJK came in to the fold. Billy originally envisioned APC having a female singer, but once MJK came onboard, apparently Billy just felt it 'clicked' and then went from there.
edit: I'm seeing multiple online sources saying Billy wrote the lyrics.
I believe it was Ultimate Guitar or some other magazine where Billy said he got the name of the band from the lyrics, wrote it and recorded the demo long before MJK officially joined, but who knows.
Maynard wrote all the lyrics on the record and the name was picked after the band was assembled sorta at the last minute.

Cool, there you have it.
Billy just replied to me on Twitter, confirming it. I stand corrected.
Seeing APC on Sunday @ Soundwave, then Puscifer on Tuesday.
Then Tool in May.
Maynard should just move here.
That's fucking bullshit. Why do those stupid shit cunts in Sydney and Adelaide get Puscifer at Soundwave but no one else does.

Well played.
Are set lists considered spoilers? If so do not read below:
SETLIST SPOILERS!!!
So I was at Soundwave Brisbane yesterday. Lots of people there to see APC. So what do we get? Mostly eMOTIVe songs, one song from Mer de Noms (The Hollow, I'm not counting 3 libras remix which most people didn't recognise and doesn't hold a candle to the original anyway) and two songs from 13th Step. I enjoyed the eMOTIVe songs but they didn't belong at a festival. People are People? Seriously? That song is shit on the album as it is. However Passive and Counting Bodies Like Sheep kicked arse. Rant over.
