Where to begin eludes me… without you to remind (sung with such poignant and elegant expression) me.
Just the maturity of the song I really appreciate.

I still can’t get over how good the music video is/was for So Long…
Dayum. These are going for that much?
Mine is just sitting in a cupboard somewhere. No chips.

Well, I’m even digging DLB now. It’s just Hourglass that sort of sticks out sounding a bit too Puscifer-y to me.
Did a side by side comparison listen to By And Down & By And Down The River. They definitely improved it on the album. Slightly faster pace and the lyrics are more comprehensible. Have to say I prefer the latter, while I’m reading a lot of people saying they prefer the single version. Can’t say I agree.

"Feathers" is the only track i don't care about, rest of the album is great, don't get the hate...
i did not know there was a video, I'm not sure how I feel after watching it. ennui is close but that says "a feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction arising from a lack of occupation or excitement" but it's more just the listlessness and dissatisfaction.
If anyone has the poster from Red Rocks 2018 that they're willing to sell hit me up.
Were the lyrics to the heavy, live version of Over ever transcribed?
I have zero idea how it came up, but friends and I were talking about "Fred's Slacks" a few nights ago.
James' onstage jokes are one thing, but I'm glad that Maynard found an outlet for his silly tendencies via Puscifer. I still to this day absolutely loathe the video for The Outsiders. That song deals with some pretty serious subject matter and deserved a GOOD music video that didn't make a complete mockery out of it.
Crying
Begging
I'm crying out
Crying
Begging

Say what you gotta say
Be how you want to be
Say what you gotta say
Heard it all before
Been over
Been over this before
Been over
Been over this before
So over
I've been over this before
Been over
Been over this before
Been over
Been over this before
So over this
Been over this
Been over this before
So over this
Been over this

@Jon ^ It’s a shame those lyrics weren’t included on MDN Live. Then again the stupid 3 Libras remix was so whatever. If you want to present an album in full present it properly!
Did anyone else see this?

This is interesting.
I've said it in here before, but 3 Libras is still my all-time favorite APC song and it kills me that they never play the original album version anymore. Maynard's vocals have sounded great lately, so I think he could do it again.
Love that higher register.
Just posted this in the Billy thread but it feels appropriate to put this offer on the table in here too...
If any of you are on the fence about going to one of Billy's headlining shows because you don't have the cash for tickets, send me a DM and I will do what I can to help get you in for free.
These shows are being criminally under attended and I know it's partially because in some markets the tickets are running $50 including fees and times are tough for a lot of people right now. They are really great though and deserve to be seen.
Also, listen to Billy's record What Normal Was if you haven't yet. It doesn't sound like anything he's ever done before but he still sounds completely like himself.
Oh and Danny Lohner plays guitar (and also co-produced the record) and has been coming out after the shows on some nights bullshitting with people so if you're looking for your chance to meet him, this could be it.

No band members besides Maynard and Billy were tagged in recent posts so they probably don't even know the band lineup themselves.
Iha's 2024 Pumpkins dates are not clashing with these (yet), but they probably will. In any case I don't think he's coming back for this. (Same goes for Troy/QOTSA, Paz/Pixies and Josh/Foos).
Seems like a good time for Danny Lohner to finally join the touring lineup for real, now that he's actively touring again (first with Billy's solo band, and now with Lindemann, whose tour ends in December).
No info on Failure/Autolux/Beta Machine/Devo plans for 2024 yet, so Matt, Jeff and Greg are likely candidates to return.
Tim Alexander will probably have a guest spot.
Also: here's some super early (1999) live footage that recently surfaced (I think)
Primus, Puscifer, and Perfect Circle? That's a heck of a golden shower.
Sorry, it's early and I couldn't come up with an actually good P joke.
