Working on a pet project website, adding new functionality and being a good developer by adding appropriate unit tests. Ran the test suite.

Of 755 tests, 2 failed.

Looked at the tests, looked at the changes I made in the corresponding model and request files, saw the simple issue, and updated the test suite slightly to accommodate the changes and additions. Ran the test suite again.

Of 755 tests, 34 failed.

I would just set up different parts of the Rube Goldberg. It was damn hard to get the whole thing to work, but you could get PARTS of it to work. Liek, you could "fling the man into the pan" at least.

What's funny is that MOST of my friends had the game in the eighties, and i played WITH it, at home and elsewhere, at least 100 times.
But nowhere did we actually PLAY the boardgame.

The most we ever did was set the whole thing up, and try to get it to work. And it did, every great once in awhile. And it was fucking stunning.
