Not posting this in the body acceptance thread but saw this on reddit and loled a bit.
"the body acceptance movement never really happened for men because we're fine looking like shit"

one of the reviews on amazon:

"I was given a digital copy of this book as a gift by my friend. I thought she was just sending me some kind of gag gift book, butt little did I know that this book was going to change my life and entire worldview. No longer shall I condemn the gays and their want to pound butts and be pounded in the butt. Having read this epic love story between a man and his living, sentient, and thoughtful flying butt I now understand. I came to the realization that I didn't really hate the gays and their butt pounding... I have just been scared all along of the deep, repressed desire I held to pound my own butt and to be pounded by my own butt... I need therapy and anger management no more. I have Chuck Tingle now."

@tony.parente @Ryan - This probably might ring a bell for you as a huge fan of South Park, as Trey Parker and Matt Stone actually did that before.

If she's being historically accurate to late Victorian America, no.

Nowhere in that article was it mentioned they grow their crops and livestock to feed them, so it's safe to assume they buy groceries.

Also, lol at them assuming they would be middle-to upper-class during this period.

My favorite bit is where she says this:

Unfortunately penicillin wasn’t discovered until the 1920s so we can't acknowledge such a thing could realistically exist in this day and age. I buried my youngest last winter following the great tuberculosis outbreak of 1897. My youngest suffocated in next door’s chimney, and I have phossy jaw because of the workhouse. In fact, I think my chin just fell off.

My friend lives in that town, so I asked if he knows them. He says "Yes. They are insufferable". I asked them about groceries and etc... Let's see if he responds. Haha. How weird.

It reads like a League of Gentlemen sketch.

I'm not 100% sure. The dude rides around town on a fucking penny farthing, though. I want to punch his face.
He wasn't sure about the groceries. Lulz.

Upon perusing their website, I noticed that their kitchen sink has a mixer tap. HOW VERY ACCURATE.

That town is small, but packed with SO many weirdos. My friend is always telling stories. And they are fun to get into discussions with on Facebook.
