Both these bands blow harder than Lous Armstrong. Excuse me while I go listen to the superior band, Ministry.

Somehow I doubt this will end well.

But you can't really compare them, they are pretty different. However right now, I prefer HTDA.

Maybe I don't yet understand the true purpose for this website.

The True Purpose of this website is to come for the Nine Inch Nails, but stay for the musical revolution.

The true purpose of Frozen Beach's comment was Sarcasm.

Sarcasm is "a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter gibe or taunt" usually conveyed through irony or understatement.

This may very well be the new "Marilyn Manson" thread for kicks and giggles. Looks like this might get messy, get that popcorn ready this thread is in for a rollercoaster ride!

Deleted my original comment because I'm stressed out today and that comment was a side effect of that. Anyway, I love them both, and as much as people might say they're exactly the same band, I find myself not being able to listen to one right after I've listened to another. They're both good for my different moods.

I actually did (Coil Remixes), but never received this option (not that I donated just to get it).

The pooled funds for the Coil Remixes paid for them and had nothing to do with site funding.

No, they're music was alright, but I couldn't stand Andy Kubiszewski's wife's voice.

And Trent Reznor does not appear on a single note of their released music.

But Trent is on the cover, enough for me to pay around 10 bucks for it on ebay.

I was surprised when I actually liked most of it (for the kind of music that it is, which I don't usually listen to).

With so little to go on for htda i dont think its much of a contest. I dont actually think of HTDA as necessarily a different band from NIN anyway. Just a newer incarnation of it. It feels like a natural evolution from the year zero material, but the nature of the vocals and lyrical content arent really jiving with me.

This is why I shouldn't have commented on your previous post I guess.

NIN. I've tried to get into HTDA and there are a few songs that I enjoy, but for the most part it's NIN for me.
