Now, that was really something. A new classic two-parter.

Agreed. It was great on so many levels. Only gripe I had was they didn't do much with Gore other than talking to a spiritual version of himself.

That scene with Santa solidified him as the best character on the show just now.

The latest episode, "Band in China", was one of the strongest episodes in a long, looooong time. Trey and Matt seem to have found new joy in making SP; and Pam Brady is back!!!!

It was certainly a big step up from the first episode (Mexican Joker), which I hate to say I found boring.

Stan and the boys doing Grindcore was fucking amazing. I looooved Butters' "GET ME OUTA THIS FARM" backing vox.

I love how Trey is just giving in and accepting that he pretty much just is Randy. That “heyyyy.. fuck you...” line being reused is fucking lol.

YOU SEE, I AM A GOO MAN.

After watching that episode I got hungry for Burger King. Went there, and saw a banner up for that not-really-meat burger. Had no idea it was an actual thing, lmao

“So, did everyone enjoy the Halloween special?”

    ”No, Randy. Only you did.”

”Oh well, that was pretty much my target audience anyway. At least I didn’t have sex with Harvey Weinstein!” *picks up condom with jizz in it and throws it at the wall* “...or did I?”

    hahahahaha

I laughed SO hard at that part. That scene falls into the category of things that I'm shocked they got away with (along with the "it was a spooky ghost" scene in the episode where they didn't have internet). I seriously can't believe Comedy Central let them do that.

Yep! Very curious to see where they take this. SP hasn't been THIS fun in a long time.

Scott’s dad making fun of him like Cartman does was hilarious.

I think the even-less-of-a-shit Trey gives, the better the episodes turn out.

I just randomly remembered this... When Should I Start To Worry? (s22e07)

"I'm pretty sure there's a ManBearPig and I'm fairly certain that he has eaten two of my children and destroyed our home. When should I start to worry?" (source) :-)

Feel free to apply in real life for Covid-19 or anything.

Let's predict what topics they'll be covering:

    - COVID (Obviously)
    - Election (Obviously)
    - George Floyd/Jacob Blake Shooting
    - Protests
    - Jeffrey Epstein/Ghislaine Maxwell
    - No Fans At Sports Arenas

    Anything I missed? Other predictions?

    Working from home
    Day drinking
    Zoom conference calls
A civil war between maskers and anti-maskers?
Vaccines with chips in them so Bill Gates can control and track the public
    Baby Yoda
A secret government plot involving G5, but for something really stupid instead of infecting us with COVID?
Like maybe 5G activates all of the more advanced Towelie clones throughout South Park and amasses an army of evil Towelies and then the boys (dressed as their Coon & Friends alter-egos) and the original Towelie have to summon the Super Best Friends again, who must join forces with Evil Lord Xenu and the Crab People to take back control of the city. There could be a final battle that riffs on Avengers: Endgame and includes all the ridiculous characters they've had over the years, including Underpants Gnomes, Mr. Hankey, the Gelgameks, The Joozians, Marklars, Baby Fark McGee-zax, the "visitor" aliens, Mitch Connor, Manbearpig, etc...

Honestly, I hope they come up with some less current event-driven episodes and do more original character-driven story-lines again so we can all escape from the fucking shitty reality we live in for 23 minutes. Either way, I'm excited that something I was looking forward to in 2020 HASN'T been cancelled!

I have to imagine we'll see an appearance from Dr. Stella talking about having sex with demons and alien DNA.

Anyone noticed South Park Studios has been uploading clips from shows the past few days?

Like this one? Leading up to the new season?
