huge Zorn fan. i worked in the music department at Barnes & Noble in high school, which gave me access to ordering a lot of his japanese import releases, as well as a lot of tzadik stuff that was just generally hard to find.
Painkiller & Naked city are two of my favourite projects, but i've been loving all of the output of The Dreamers, and i'm a big fan of Masada String Trio & the Bar Kokhba Sextet.
also, almost anything he's done with Mike Patton has been pretty great.
I'm curious to try out The Dreamers and O'o, but I didn't like The Gift or Taboo and Exile much. Not much going on there.
I'm also a bit disappointed by Moonchild: I don't see how this is adding anything to Painkiller, and I feel the talents of Mike Patton are a little wasted here.
