The only thing I didn't like about the box set was how they changed the songs to finish a side of a record. Green Man did not fade out originally.

Does anyone have clear directions on how to find Peter Steele's tree in Prospect Park? I'm working there next weekend, and if I have the time, I'd really like to go find it if it's not too far away. Thanks!

Thanks for posting that, I don't bother looking at the official forum anymore. It's so dead there now and there's really no bringing it back. Shame.

Do you have a decent rip of the Live at the Wacken Open Air? I've got one, but it's not really great quality.

Peter's last interview from the Living The American Nightmare DVD. It's been spliced together so just the TON footage is all together:

I love Everything Dies too, Cant believe that interview was only a few weeks before his death he looks really healthy there.

Life is Killing Me is underrated, the production and guitar solo in this track is beautiful. The Cure/The Cult/Curve plus Black Sabbath comes to mind.

^Agreed! "Life is killing me" is my second favorite, my favorite track is "Nettie", i think it's one of the saddest Type O albums, i'm glad it wasn't the last one, since "Dead Again" it's a bit more "upbeat"

This thread bump has given me the inkling to listen to some Type O Negative tonight. Will work swimmingly well when I drive home from work. Type O and night time go together so wonderfully.

I've been on a big Type O kick myself lately... it might been a fall / Halloween seasonal thing. I saw them maybe 4-5 times in concert, made me sad to think that these songs will probably never be played live again. Two of the guys were in a new band, no? Never got around to checking that out... any news lately on them?
