We are having a ball at the new forum but some more regular active members would be cool. Feel free to sign up and join in on the chat.

Will do. I'll make sure to let any Type O Negative fans around my way know about your forum, should I encounter them. It really does look very legit and you did a great job on the overall design and sections. I can also definitely relate to this, as I actually hope to create an actual .com or .org forum or two in the future. But yeah, overall, the design is pretty sweet.

I'll also be Kris over there too.

For anyone interested, seasons has compiled together and edited the final version of LIKM to the pre-mixes, removed the audio watermark and normalised all the audio with my FLAC rip. Be sure to check it out!

P.S - a while back someone sent me a PM on here of handwritten lyrics by Peter for the song Gimme That from Life Is Killing Me. If said person could kindly re-PM me with an image of it I'd much appreciate it!

He was not exactly thrilled with life, so I assume he would consider that an accomplishment.

    Either way RIP.

I didn't know that he was fluent in Russian. Which makes sense since I believe he made up a language for the song Enemy of the state. Rest in peace Peter.

Due to the fall arriving, I'm on a major Type O kick again and find this very interesting indeed.

So I really, really paid attention to the I Am The Walrus-like chanting at the end of Can't Lose You today (I've always spun World Coming Down and October Rust waaaay more often than Bloody Kisses), and started giggling in public. Now....why does Monte Connor suck cock again?

Kind of an in-joke; he signed them to Roadrunner Records.

More info about what else is being chanted/sung here:

The blood and semen part is referencing when Peter signed the RR contract literally in his own blood and semen.

Seriously. Even to a casual fan like me why does fall remind me of Type O and vice versa? Is it the haunting vocals mixed with gothic type metal that leans towards Halloween? Have they released a lot of albums in late summer/fall?

    Weird. o_O

I always associated it even before that, they just have a sound that's associated with a time of season for me I guess. A Title like October Rust helps too.

Also looking at release dates in the 90's they do release them late summer/fall:

BK: August 17, 1993 (this was my introduction to them)
    OR: August 20, 1996
    WCD: September 21, 1999

October Rust is a better album, BUT i feel "closer" to Life is Killing Me, so i guess it's my "personal" favorite...

It's a very weird comparison. Shouldn't it be OR vs. BK and LIKM vs. WCD? The style change is just prominent enough between OR and WCD.
