It's a very weird comparison. Shouldn't it be OR vs. BK and LIKM vs. WCD? The style change is just prominent enough between OR and WCD.

My bad, I didn’t mean for it to be a vs. sort of thing. I was going through my music and realized that I never got around to buying either October Rust or Life is Killing Me, and other than a few songs on each, I haven’t heard either album all the way through. I may try to pick one up this month if the money is there, and just wondered peoples general opinion as to which one would be more worth it. Listening to them on youtube is probably an option, but who has time for that? My music listening is usually mostly while driving or jogging.

@Ryan , in Australia, when do the leaves turn and you get "swirling fog gloom" and such?
I feel this fucking quickening in october when it starts to get cooler and the leaves crackle under my feet and it seems like everything is exciting and possible and it is my absolute favorite season. I blast Creepy Green Light every October 1st.
So is this season april or may, something like that, in australia?

I just realized autumn's almost here and i can't fucking wait. it DOES something to me.

March, April, May is Autumn here. We only have two weeks of winter left - my birthday falls at the end of September, the first month of Spring; I love it for the warmer weather but hate it for my fucking allergies to pollen.

That would be amazing! I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not picking up that vinyl set on RSD a few years back. I would kill to have that, but there's no way in hell I'm gonna spend over 500 bucks for what essentially amounts to two albums (LIKM and WCD). Really, would it kill Roadrunner to release those albums outside of that box? They are the only ones I need...

I'm really digging them. Can't Lose You has a really different feel to it, a bit more on the serious side without the chanting. I think I like it better.

The tremolo in Blood & Fire really threw me! That song was my intro to the band (good ol' Mortal Kombat soundtrack) and it's so wonderful to hear yet another version.

I've passed these on to a few folks already And joined up on TON.co, because why the heck not.

Fall's a' comin'. I'm gonna want to expand my TON palate. Recommend any particular recordings?
