Anyone know the program/method used to make the noise/glitch part of Great Destroyer?

I want to start a new project, primarily glitch/noise. I haven't created glitch before but it's something I really want to try.

Does anyone have any ideas on the way to go about it? Either programs/methods/processes or whatever that can be used to create this kinda sound?

You can try using a sampler, like FL Studio. Set the BMP/Temo to 999 BPM, load a sample, send it to piano roll & place some bricks. It can give some fast & tight sounds. Slow down to 300 BPM for less cycles.

Another sample to look into is "BD" and there are 1000's of them. Bass Drum for the boom boom. Add an EQ and some light overdrive/distortion FX for umph (no reverb/echo/phasers/fanger)

Some of the samples will loop like 3 times then echo out

Lots of static sounds in there, I once blew into a MIC & recorded it then sampled it.

I believe Reznor uses one of these: http://www.jazzmutant.com/lemur_overview.php

There is also and iPad ap that works in the same way, though I have yet to use that.

As for the software used, possibly Reaktor live/ various modular synths.. Who knows with Trent!

He does use the Jazz Mutant on stage, seen here- http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...inatlanta.png/

Obviously, I can't confirm he used it for the great destroyer though!
